  • So, PC, what's your fitness regime?

Do you go to a gym? What do you do while you're at the gym? Do you have any particular hobbies - listening to a particular CD, watching tv, etc?

Do you workout/exercise at home? What do you do?

What keeps you motivated to workout/stay fit? What are your current goals, if any?

  • My motivation is money, my regime is work, and my diet is the confines of poverty.

But seriously, I don't go out of my way to plan anything related to my health because I'm doing alright as is and I'm not in a hurry to be an example of good health. A couple of friends of mine routinely do some pretty extreme cardio so I could join them if I wanted, but I would probably die.

The only exercise I get is when I go to work and I have to carry around these 20 lbs bins and lift heavy boxes and stuff. Oh, and when I work on my garden!

Other than that I'm super lazy :(

  • I don't work out at all.
All the kids in my high school are obsessed with it, and I guess it makes them feel "cool."
I couldn't care less what others think of me, and besides the fact that it keeps me healthy, which I get during normal exercise (playing kickball etc.) it seems pretty pointless to me.

I work out. It's becoming more of a hobby than for fitness, though. I find it a lot of fun.

I prefer walking or jogging, but I do any exercise that I'm able to. I do light work outs (everyday), skip ropes, swing a baseball bat and stretching (everyday) at home, and when I'm in the gym I do weight training (this includes benching, but I normally don't do it unless I have a partner because it's dangerous and I'm not yet used to it), hit the machines, and exercises I normally don't do at home. I also shadow box at home and generally go to the boxing club next to the gym, if that count. I also walk home between school back and forth (I go back home on lunch breaks) every school day, but it's only a 15 minutes walk, so it's not really too bad.

I'd go crazy if I don't work out at least a little. I don't really do it for good looks, but to be healthy and fit until I also developed a likeness to it.

  • I used to go weightlifting! I also used to do a lot of running so I could lose weight at some point haha.

The year got too busy for me though and I'm weird and self-conscious about going to the gym alone. When I'm with friends though, I love to workout. I'll probably pick up my routine in September when I move across the country so I can stay away from the Freshman 15 lol.

Oh, gosh, I'm like the exact opposite. I tried working out like twice with my friend. I didn't enjoy it at all.
I've personally been working out since October 2011. I've lost around eighty pounds so far, but I've got a lot more room to improve. I started off by going late at night to avoid people, but now I go during peak hours. I just don't care anymore. :]

When I go, though, I tend to do at least 30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical, and then about 20 t 30 minutes of general weight lifting. I'm always listening to music, though. I used to bring my nook to read, but lately I haven't (because my charger broke ;-;)
I also used to go on Sunday nights and would watch Desperate Housewives and whatnot while working out, but I usually work Sunday nights now so :[

I work out because I want to be in better shape and I feel it will make me more attractive/healthy. I know that's not the right reason to work out, but it's worked so far. :c

If I did care about working out, I would definitely be like this. Back when I was a self-described 'fitness freak', I needed to be by myself. I couldn't socialise with other people, I didn't want to. Though, lol, this behaviour was a symptom of a more, uh, destructive issue. But still! If I went to a gym today, I wouldn't be able to go with anyone, I'd just take my iPod and put on 'work playlist' (Twerkin!!!! by Kreayshawn) and go at it, lol.

Work out for whatever reason you want to, lol. Who cares whether it's the 'right' reason or not, if it makes you feel good, then work out for that reason.

To answer the original questions, however:
    1. What the hell is a gym? Gym? What's that?
    2. Do I exercise at home? Yeah, I go for runs and whatever and try to keep reasonably fit. I could totally lose some weight, but I don't have the vitality of my early teens.
    3. My motivation to stay fit is that I don't want to end up like K-Fed.

  • I don't really do much for exercising or working out.The most I do is go on a walk around the walk or a few laps around the nearby park. But that's all I usually do. I used to run and walk more ,especially last summer, but I haven't been running as often. I'm definitely horribly out of fit.

  • I don't work out. Closest I get is walking to work and back. It's pretty sufficient for keeping me in halfway decent shape -- I work at a pizza place and have a terrible diet, and I've probably only gained about 20 pounds at most since I've been working here instead of becoming super fat. Not that I'm skinny, 20 pounds is still a lot for a 5' person and I should probably be exercising more than I am.

Tried running part of the way home today. I think I might start doing that. It's a bit hard because I have my backpack, but it makes me feel less lazy and gets me home slightly faster.

  • I don't do the conventional workouts like jogging or anything, but I like to dance, and that usually helps. I am already small naturally though so I don't have any weight to lose, but I like to at least be reasonably fit. Admittedly, I don't dance as much as I used to...probably because I live with my mom again and not only do I not want to be seen, but my room is above her's and I don't wanna wake her up during night. Cause you know, night is the best time to dance haha.

I'm also in marching band, so I build up a lot of muscle during marching season. Only thing I don't like about that though is that I'm small and my body like...had to make room for the muscle I was getting so my calves like...have stretch marks. lol :( They're not like OMG LOOK AT ME they're really light, but it's enough to bother me.

My workout is walking. When I'm at school I usually walk about half a hour to get back home. I also have 2 PE lessons every week (although every fortnight, one of them is a theory) and I sometimes like to walk.

High intensity workout is too much for me and I'm honestly just too lazy to do it. :P

I do karate training twice a week and I cycle once a week too.

I sometimes workout at home which involves push ups and bicycle style crunches.

Well my ultimate goal is world conquest so an inspirational ruler should be someone others can look up to and I think having good fitness can go a long way towards that. Plus if I can dodge bullets and do a whole bunch of other hax worthy stuff, it could help me live for a bit longer :p

  • I don't work out at all, even though I should. Although this isn't much, just walking around school fast-paced often between classes and my duty as a teacher's assistant running passes kept me "active". For the most part, I am inactive (which I am not proud of -_-), though my motivation of keeping me active is just not eating a whole lot of junk food, but I also don't eat a lot of healthy foods either :P

  • Since the year began, I've gotten back into my old work out regime that I lapsed on a lot last year. I work out at home, four days in the week during the mornings and two of those days I start by getting in a good morning run. I've got a good set of equipment to work with as well. Eventually I'd like to join a gym though; maybe when I finally get myself a job.

I find it rather enjoyable working out, even on leg days. I feel good about myself, I build better form and physical shape, and it's just a good time to clear my mind a little. I'm the kind of guy who likes to keep healthy, so working out is just another part of doing so.

I also like working out alone, so the only other company I have is the upbeat music I have playing in my ears. It keeps me focused and it's usually what keeps me motivated, especially when I start getting tired near the end of the last set or the final rep of whatever work out I'm doing.

  • My main form of exercise these days is lots of walking, both in uni and while taking my dog for long walks. If I have the time and the mood, I would go for a cycle around my neighbourhood, and occasionally, a swim. I don't go to a gym though. Working out or exercising at home? I do that once in a while, but not often. I guess I don't really have enough motivation to actually seriously keep to a fitness schedule. I hope to find that motivation soon though. My current goal is to do just that! Haha.

  • I go to the gym once a week. That's about all I can manage due to lack of motivation, but I've really been wanting to push myself more lately. It's just not fun when no one seems to want to go with you. :( Been trying to get my friend to go but she lazies out all the time, sigh.

I do go out decently often, though.

I jog in the morning, despite already being so thin. That's pretty much it, though.
