4th Gen Empoleon, Torterra, or Infernape

Yeah, Empoleon's great. I have it on all my teams... I've beaten some Ubers such as Kyogre and Arceus with it (Drizzle is a bad thing after all... For Kyogre!)

It's a surprise to me that a grass type starter got the most votes.

Empoleon is the best to my opinion - high defences, high special attack, cool looks. The other two look lame to me.

Definitely Torterra. I've been a longtime fan of the the World Turtle myth of various Native American tribes and it was pretty slick to be able to see a pokemon based on the concept. :P

I agree completely. That is why I chose Turtwig to start with.

EMPOLEON !!!....It's an emperor penguin with steel trident on it's head and napoleon in it's name !! ......I almost died when i saw it first time due to over exposure to pure awesomeness !

I'd say Torterra, Empoleon's cool, but I prefer reptiles over birds. Infernape. . . yeah, a freaking flaming monkey, the design's cool, but the concept was ridiculous. Plus, the Fire/Fighting combo was overused since Blaziken already had it.
