Have you ever refused written advise and found that your solution was better than the original advice?
Well, yeah, I've gotten bad advice. For Morphic, for instance, I've both been told to include more Pokémon in it (...okay, so there aren't a lot of actual Pokémon, but they're Pokémorphs, and what purpose would it serve to randomly include more Pokémon just to have more Pokémon?) and to include other particular morphs such as an Eevee morph (I shot this down with a rant about how I actually hate Pokémorphs and the only reason I'm writing Pokémorph fiction is that I get to write about freak hybrid children with disturbing problems who get hunted down by religious fanatics, and how the species of the morphs were chosen from the scientists' perspective to represent radically different Pokémon and they already have two mammals with no need for yet another one, and how as a rule the scientists would rather die than make the mistake of creating more morphs, and how even if they did it would take ten years for that morph to grow to an age where it could do anything interesting). Then there's the standard "ALWAYS DESCRIBE IN DETAIL WHAT THE POKÉMON LOOK LIKE", which I've stopped doing after wisening up somewhat.
Have you ever written a story/one-shot/whatever you decided not to post because of its content?
Because of its content, specifically? I mean, I've written a one-shot I was not really happy with so I only posted it in one place, and another one-shot that I showed to some people as a work-in-progress and the general consensus was that it kind of sucked so I didn't post it, but when you say "because of its content" you make me think something particularly offensive or pornographic, in which case no.

Yes, it's Fijians. And some Americans just seem to forget that they're not the only country in the world. I have been outright flamed for filling my work with 'stupid spelling mistakes that a third-grader wouldn't make'. Some people are so narrow-minded.

But yes, you should include more Pokemon in the prologue. Remember how MKD was reported for being in the wrong section? You need a dancing, singing Pikachu (named Andy!) that appears in every fic, because that's the only way that your fic will be recognized as being a Pokemon fic.
You need to include one of the "cool" Pokemon in order to be recognized. AEM is all right, because it starts off with an Absol! But Ariados? Is icky and a horrible battler and isn't cute, so it automatically sucks. By relation, MKD falls in the same boat.
I really hope no one thinks I'm serious with this.
Except for the dancing, singing Pikachu named Andy. Because that's adorable. (Now I have to go download something else for my Sims. It never stops.)

Guess what, guys? I hate Twilight fans even more now. Can you imagine that? They all waited in line for their little New Moon preview at Comic-Con for like two days, and the organizers let them all into the theater early. Long story short, I couldn't see the Tron 2 trailer because a bunch of rabid Twilight fans were taking up all the seats.
