Your characters decide to have a nice, rousing game of Dungeons and Dragons. What characters do they play, and which one is the Dungeon Master?
Ahem. I've never played Dungeons and Dragons, but I do know something about it... I might be totally off track, though, but never mind me. xD
Cimi (from JtIoJ and SP) would definitely be an elf cleric. She'd want her character to be a wise, graceful being, shining with an inner light of tranquility but yet be powerful and scary, preferably the beautiful princess of the elven population. Yes, Cimi would try to have a chracter as mary sue as possible. Of course, because she is far from a mary sue, it would not suit her very well. She'd probably get herself fatally injured pretty fast... She'd also take the role of the leader of the pack, forcefully if she had to, because that is the role most suitable for her character (that's her opinion, at least). So, she'd be running around, glowing the light of inner tranquility, and getting killed in some cave when she just barges in without any second thoughts. Or first thoughts.
Adan (same fics) would want to be something very powerful, but after thinking a while, he'd decide on being a human paladin. After all, he has a strong sense of duty, and someone has to take the role of a defender. His character would be much like him, because he can't act or pretend very well. The paladin of his would always try to be the logical and sensible one of the team, because Cimi would obviously just run into any cave and get killed if someone didn't stop her. Obviously, he'd fail in this mission, but he'd try anyway. Also, he would be an orphan.
Pichu (still the same fics) would definitely want to join in the game and have some kickass character. His character should be a dwarf warlock with a ridiculously huge axe or something, and he'd definitely not be careful with it. He would most likely meet his end soon and by his own axe. I figure no-one really knows how he does it, but I can swear that he somehow manages to hit his own head off with it. Well, that's what you get with two-sided war axes.
Jack (MB) would have to be forced in, although he would have some interest in the game. Because he'd be forced in, his character would be picked at random by the other players. No matter what they do to pick the character, Jack would end up as a halfling ranger, totally against his will. He'd hate the whole game yet still play almost eagerly. He'd try to be sensible like Adan, but he's still easily excited and would participate in Cimi's suicide plans. I figure he'd stay alive, though.
Sora (from the parody fic) would be a fairy queen as sue as herself, and Jack would kill her after three minutes of the game. Why? He'd be that annoyed. Everyone would be relieved, and because Sora is a sue, she'd not be mad because of it. She'd just laugh her gracious, old-people-killing laugh and go bake muffins to everyone. She might be revived later because of the muffins, but she'd die again soon - by friendly fire - because she is just that annoying.
Rora (from SP) would be a wizard, probably human at that. She'd be a tad vile but generally a good person with only some xenocides in her past. Her character would be male, just for the heck of it, and she'd probably be the real leader of the team with Adan. She would think before she did anything and try to kill her fellow adventurers on purpose only occasionally. She'd probably tease Cimi the most, with her being Rora's older sister and all. I could even guess that going to the cave that proves to be the place of Cimi's character's death would be Rora's idea...
And the game master? Obviously April (Jack's loose-headed mother, for those of you who don't know. From MB)! She'd insist on having the role of Dungeon Master and she'd screw up the whole thing. She'd forget the rules all the time, she'd lost her maps and plans and improvise in a way that doesn't make sense, she'd try to stop characters from dying when there obviously is no way they can be saved, and she'd constantly try to resurrect Sora's fairy queen who shouldn't even exist in the first place. She's definitely the worst character for the job, and also the most likely one. All in all, she'd completely screw the rules because she can't remember them and make up her own.
It would be an interesting game, to say the least. I almost want to write a short story about that game now...
And if someone didn't know those characters, go read my fanfics right now. The links are below. Go go go! They're all readable, I promise! Also, all the characters are worth knowing...
