Favorite Ghost type

If I had to pick a favorite ghost-type it would have to be the Dusknoir evolutionary chain.
I'm not sure why, but I've always liked the look of Duskull. It just seems to be so innocent looking, yet its outer shell is a symbol of death!

However, I probably would have gone with Gengar if Duskull hadn't received a final evolution in Diamond and Pearl. Dusknoir just looks so menacing and powerful.
To tell you the truth, I would be more afraid if I ran into a Dusknoir on the streets than if I ran into a Gengar.
(Sadly, that is the basis of my vote...)

well, i WOULD choose gengar because he is just amazing.
High special attack and great speed, just like a miniature alakazam.
he has a great movepool, its sinister looking, and it just looks awesome when it screws around with you and sticks its tongue(which is about half the size of him).
it'd be a great ghost type to use with hypnosis/dream eater combo.

Gengar is pretty chill....he seems like someone who can have a good time. Also, he's a damn fine special sweeper.

Voted for Gengar, although I'm more into Haunter (because of the anime and owning only Haunter in the games due to lack of people to trade with). Gengar's all right, but I wouldn't put him on my favorites list, personally. (Although he is my second favorite Ghost-type. I just can't say no to its standards, even though I really should. ♥)

And don't get me started about Gastly. Stupid puff ball won't leave me alone in the Pokemon Tower (I'm too cheap for Repels/the kind of person who spends thousands of units on Poke Balls and Potions instead), and I usually can't do much with Gastly at all, what with its best moves for in-game training being Night Shade and Confuse Ray until I can finally get it to evolve. >_> (Yeah, I know it learns Shadow Ball, but only at level 29. In DP! ;_;)

I choose Gengar, only because my favorite ghost is Haunter. I loved the episode with Ash's Haunter and Sabrina. I laughed hysterically when I watched that episode, even though its been years since I've seen it. I've always loved Haunter so Gengar gets my vote. Gengar is cool in a way and can be good in battle.

I adore Drifblim. It's likely got the most unique type combination before Giratina (I don't count Ghost-Dark as unique because it's been done more than once).

Competitors love their Gengar. I do, as well.

Why so? Spiritomb is probably the best Medicham counter, beeing immune to both Fighting and Psychic.

Not really fond of Ghosts in general but i'm fond of ghost type moves.

Only 4 ghosts i'd say I like in any way and they are Spiritomb, Sableye, Mismagius and Rotom. I'm sort of neutral with Drifblim and Genger and the rest....I just don't like them much at all.

Oh my god that Giratina looks soooo badass. That sprite alone wins my vote.


But in all honesty, I really like Giratina. His whole backstory is pretty interesting also. Sort of rare for DP.
