Favorite Pokémon Tournament - Flying (November 9-17)

I voted for both the Togepi and Noibat lines. Togetic and Noibat are two of my favorite designs, and their evolutions are both viable, unique fighters. Love them all!
If Chatot had been there I would have voted for it as well. Chatot in Mystery Dungeon, hahah.

I'm sad you didn't chuck in Chatot and Dragonite. Oh well, my vote goes for Skarmory because even though he seems dull I'm giving him chance for being part steel.

I should have made a mention of this when talking about the Crobat family, but Dragonite wasn't included due to winning the Dragon-type poll in August. As for Chatot, I meant to include it in the poll, but somehow missed it. I've now added it with the appropriate number of votes left in the thread.

On another note, the impending server move here at PC will be taking place during this week's round of voting. For however long this downtime lasts, I'll add that time on to the poll when the site's back up, so for those that haven't voted yet, don't worry about your voting window being cut short.

First vote was tossed to Charizard, who is one of my favorite Pokemon.

I also had to give a vote to Pelipper. Even though Pelipper isn't that strong of a Pokemon, it became one of my favorites because of a Ruby playthrough. That bird was incredible with its Ice Beam and...being a decent HM slave?

Also, Hoothoot gets a vote because it's been my Pokewalker buddy for a year now. My main Pokewalker has only had Hoothoot in it since the day she appeared on the device, and I've gotten so used to her being there. So I had to give her some support.

Emolga for me, as its the only half-flying I have used before and actually like (mostly thanks to the anime) and when I used in my teams really moved the move sets. Also it's really cute

I voted for a lot this time around. Normally I only vote for one, but I just couldn't settle on one. One of my favorite flying types of all time is Honchkrow, the design looks really cool to me. I always liked Talonflame the second I saw it. Togekiss has always ranked up there. I voted for a lot more, but I don't feel like giving my reason for all of them.

Pidgey was the first pokémon I ever caught and on my first run of Pokémon Red it never left my party, from Route 2 to the battle against Mewtwo inside the Cerulean Cave (as a Pidgeot, of course).

It certainly deserves my vote.

I vote for a lot of pokémon :3 Pidgeot is the original, beautiful bird pokémon imo. Aerodactyl was great in the PokéSpe manga so I warmed up to it! Skarmory was one of my favorite pokémon in Ruby, always had one on my team. And Braviary and Noivern are pretty much too cool to not vote for. Especially like Noivern's design, and was always happy with Braviary's.

I like birds so I am happy I found this poll!
I like most bird Pokémon at least a little bit but I voted for 3 of them.

That is because I like all of their poses/sprites in X/Y a lot and also their evolutions.

Other than that I voted for the most important one for me: Togekiss!
It may not be a bird but it's my favourite Pokémon. I just like its shape and its cry, I hope it will win.

I gave my vote to Pidgeot/Honchkrow, with Honchkrow taking the 'winner' vote. I love me some Dark types, so I included Honchkrow on my main team, and he's a really fun Pokémon to use.

My vote would probably go to Skarmory, Drifloon and Pidgeot. It's an odd combination but they're all great Pokemon in their own rights. Skarmory was the mascot of one of my favourite LPers and it kinda just caught on with me after awhile. Sure the thought of a huge steel bird trying to hunt you down isn't that pleasant but you have to admit it's pretty cool. Defying gravity and being a general badass is how Skarmory rolls. Drifloon, probably for design reasons! You can't go wrong with balloons.

Lastly, I've been using a Pidgeot recently and most people only consider it as an early flying type. But really it's practically ripping through everything in sight, it's kinda underrated in my opinion. I've never had so much fun using a Pokemon since Vaporeon in B/W2. :]

I'd have to say my favorite is Charizard. Charizard was my first and so far only pokémon to reach level 100 and has won countless battles for me. :)

Wow, I missed quite a few of these. >_< So let's vote for seven of them!

Murkrow/Honchkrow - I really like their designs and the ideas behind them. Witchy murkrow make up the members of honchkrow's mafia and all that.

Gligar/Gliscor - They're cute. Even gliscor, though that took me a bit to get used to. Doesn't hurt that I like using them in battle too.

Taillow/Swellow - More swellow, though I like them both. Swellow's cool, with that suave hair thing going on and its speed.

Swablu/Altaria - Cute and gentle, opposite from the usual connotation of altaria's dragon-typing. I'm not a fan of dragon-types for their straightforward brute strength, so altaria's a breath of fresh air. >_<

Emolga - It's really my brother that got me to really notice how adorable it is. Also, I really love the one in PMD: Gates to Infinity.

Chatot - Very unique bird, what with Chatter and all. I like its bright colors and the musical design. And I think I'm one of the few people that like Chatot in PMD: Explorers. His sacrifice in Brine Cave always makes me tear up, haha.

Other: Natu/Xatu - Their totem pole/native-ish design is really neat! I remember doodling xatu a lot in sixth grade, before Gold and Silver were released outside of Japan.
