Normal: Rattata It's common and annoying, but i like it, why not?
Fire: Charizard There isn't really much choice since Fire is damn rare as a type. I chose Charizard for nostalgia reasons, i often had one back in RBY days, who didn't?
Water: Magikarp Obviously my overall favorite. Don't really know what else to say about.
Electric: Lanturn I like Lanturn mainly for its in-game usefulness due to its unique and awesome typing
Grass: Jumpluff Using Jumpluff is just so much fun, so i like it
Ice: Articuno Can't think of anything else right now. Well, Articuno looks awesome and stuff...
Fighting: Primeape Just because it ALWAYS seems to be angry
Poison: Beedrill Nidoking and Muk would have been other candidates, but i just like Beedrill more than them.
Ground: Nidoking Like Charizard, nostalgia factor. I never played RBY without using a Nidoking.
Flying: Scyther Who doesn't like ninja bugs like Scyther?
Psychic: Kadabra The original Psychic Pokemon line. I like Kadabra more than Alakazam for the obvious reason you don't have to trade for it.
Bug: Scyther See above. Beedrill would have been the other canditate here.
Rock: Geodude I use this a lot recently, despite being common, having the worst typing after Parasect and bad stats. So why should i if i wouldn't like it?
Ghost: Haunter Haunter looks by far creepiest out of all ghosts, and looking creepy is what ghosts are for.
Dragon: Salamence Dragonite is fat, Kingdra looks strange and requires trading, i don't like Garchomp's cry, i never really used Flygon or Altaria before, so i choose Salamence here.
Dark: Tyranitar Has always been in my top ten, awesome as it is. Too bad Larvitar is always obtained so incredibly late...
Steel: Scizor Can't really think of a reason now.
