Finding tournaments

I never really entered any tournaments when i was younger and i'm curious if they still hold them. If so how can i find some in my area?

The Event Locator on the official Pokemon website will help loads:

https://www.pokemon.com/us/account/events/

Works for just about any location, even if the URL says "US" in it. I've used it to find leagues in Australia and the UK in the past for people.

And I used it to find 2 Leagues near my house on Sundays and Mondays.

I also used it to find out that they have a BattleRoads tournament on Saturday and I am taking a trip to Mexico by plane on that same day. Therefore I don't get to go! YIPPIE!!!

Anyway, I also used it to find out that they will have a Battleroads 16 miles away from where I will be staying in Mexico. YIPPIE!!!!!!!!!!!!
