    Okay... update!!

+Beat the boss with ease and collected my Master Ball.
    +Left Silph Co.
    +Started down the bridge.
+Beat everyone along the way with ease. Though, people with water Pokemon gave me a small problem
    +Made it to Fushia.
+Caught a few Pokemon in the Safari Zone. Nothing too important.
+Went to Cycling Road and beat everyone there.
+Headed to the Fushia Gym and beat the leader using my Poliwrath and my Gyaradose.
+Headed back to Saffron to take on Sabrina.
+Beat her using my Gyaradose and my Blastoise.
+Headed back to Fushia and surfed to Cinnabar Island. Catching a Golduck on the way.
+Switched my Seadra for the Golduck.
+Revived Omanyte and switched for him.
+Currently, my Omanyte is going through very rigorous training so he can catch up.

I think any trading isn't allowed... I'm not sure if it counts if it's to evolve. :3

+Trained Omanyte to Lv 40 and evolved him.
    +Trained Golduck to Lv 40.
+Went through the mansion in Cinnabar (catching a Growlithe, Koffing and Grimer for the Pokedex)
+Went to the Cinnabar gym and took on Blaine. (obviously winning with ease)
+Went to One, Two and Three islands and did what Bill had me do.
+Returned to Kanto and took on Giovanni in the gym. Beat him with ease.
And right now I'm training because my rivals Venosaur is INSANELY highly leveled compared to my Pokemon and can take them all out with one razor leaf... ugg... anyone know of a water Pokemon that isn't weak against grass??

Gyarados is water/flying = not weak against grass. Probably Lotad&co and Mantine too. Though we're in Kanto... hm.

Okay, I started this challenge about 5 days ago. I took the poison challenge, as this gave me the chance to use most of the pokemon I liked but didn't deem worthy to be in my main team :P. Sorry I didn't post when or before I started, but my connection was a bit down :(.

Anyway, it went mostly like this, I'll tell the important parts:

Picked Bulbasaur for a starter, and got the first weedle I got my eyes on. I hate bugs, but gotta give it to them, the level up damn fast. He was a full fledged Beedrill by the time I got to Brock and his possy. Anyway, first gym, Bulbasaur one hit them all. Cake walk.

Went into the first cave, and I caught myself a Paras for HM Slave and a Zubat for my third poison poke. He was intended as a backup, but ended as being too strong to let go, so I stuck to him :P.
Misty's Gym fell almost as fast as Brock to my Ivysaur.

Electric Gym posed a bit of a threat, as none of my pokes were very effective against electric pokemon, but fortunately, Ivysaur is equipped with the 2 moves that mostly ensure a kill: Sleep Powder and Leech Seed. So he passed the Electric Gym for me, eventually.

I caught a ghastly in Lavender, and decided to make him part of my mad poison team, as a ghost type is kinda cool. Evolved him into Haunter, decided he's not worth it, dumped him into the computer where he sits till this day.

The Grass Gym was up next, and it was the moment when I realised that my mad poison team had not one single decent poison attack :P. Nevertheless, Beedrill and Golbat cut through the pathetic plants with ease.

Safari Zone, spent a while in there, catching everything that moved for my pokedex, but most importantly, I got my 4th member in there, Nidoran, who was quickly evolved into a Nidoking.

The Poison Gym was a bit annoying, but the recently promoted Venusaur and his Sleep/Leech combo eventually won the day again. The awesome part in this was that finally this gym allowed me the use of surf, and my most awaited member joined the team, Tentacool. Leveling him up was the first priority, since my rival almost took me out the last time we battled, and his Charmeleon, who was currently not such a threat, would evolve into a Charizard on our next fight...yeah, OHKO on everything is not good (which actually happened when I got to him, since Tentacool was 13 levels too low to fight him :P).

With my now almost complete team, I took on Silph CO. I eventually got to my rival, killed his first 3 pokemons, then Charizard came out and nothing I had could take 1 hit from his flamethrower or wing attack, so he wiped me. I evolved Tentacool and went right back, kicked his ass and Giovanny was just food for my Tentacruel.

Sabrina and her gym all fell in one hit from my Beedrill (lol) so I was on my way to the Fire Gym. Caught Articuno for the game's sake on the way :P. Before I got into the fire gym, I eventually caught a Koffing in the poke Mansion and completed my team with him. Tentacruel surfed through the Fire Gym with ease.

Did the Islands next, nothing interesting there, and went straight for my Exp Share. Now my team looks like this:

    Venusaur level 43 "Bloomy"
    Beedrill level 44 "Sheep"
    Golbat level 43 "Batman"
    Nidoking level 41
    Tentacruel level 41 "Psycho"
    Weezking level 35 "Shitball"

Going for the last gym now, and I'll update once more with my final team after I finish the game.

Haha... so I'm kinda taking it slow with my first Challenge, mainly because I've only played it at School (yes school), on the bus, and before I go to sleep. XD; Anyways, here's what has happened so far.

+ Started my Game. Picked Charmander for my HM Slave. After getting the Pokedex, I caught myself my first two members: Rattata and Pidgey.

+ Training them to around level 10ish, then defeated my Rival for the first time on Route 22. Pretty easy.

+ Went through the Viridian Forest and trained a bit until Rattata and Pidgey were 14/15, then faced Brock. Managed to defeat him and his Onix with a billion Sand-Attacks, and then Tail Whip + Hyper Fang when Pidgey died.

+ Continued, and caught a Spearow and a Jigglypuff on Route 3. Trained them to around level 10ish, then went into Mount Moon. Pidgey had evolved into Pidgeotto by this time.

+ Took FOREVER (as I was trying to find one with a decent nature), but I caught a Clefairy, and trained my Pokemon while I was doing so. Rattata evolved into Raticate.

+ Got through Mt. Moon, and training my Pokemon a bit more before facing Misty. Despite Water Pulse being the devil, I managed to win without going to the Nugget Bridge first.

+ Went to Nugget Bridge, and took out my Rival's Pokemon again. Now I'm in Bill's house, about to talk to him. :3

i'll do this with FR and the poison-types (they rule)

    what i've done so far:

+ woke up, and got out of the house
+ almost walked into route 2 before prof. oak saved me from inevitable death ;)
+ received a female (woot!) bulbasaur (named poi)
+ got owned by diego (my rival)
+ received oak's parcel, pokedex, and town map
+ trained poi to about level 10
+ caught lvl 4 weedle (named pin)
+ thrashed bug catchers in viridian forest
--- pin evolved at lvl 7 (now lvl 9)
    --- poi lvl 10
+ thrashed brock's gym (received all that junk)
--- pin evolved again (lvl 10)
    -- poi lvl 13
    + received running shoes
+ ran back to route 22 thrashed diego with pin

    now:
+ i'm battling my way through route 3

XD I know. I asked, though, because I thought it would help to have two that weren't weak against him.

But, I finally beat him using my Gyarados. Finally. And, I went through the Pokemon league. Twice. So, I beat the challenge. I can't remember what Lv. my Pokemon were because I restarted the game. xD I think they were Lv. 60-something.

Well... I haven't gotten too much farther from the time I have updated, but I did change my team around, so I might as well? :3

From the last time I left off, I did these such things:

+ Met with Bill, got the ticket and went down to Vermillion. Along the way, I caught a Meowth (Fishsticks) and trained it until it was near equal level as the others. Fishsticks took Spearow's place in the party.

+ Went onto the ship and beat the people there, including my rival, who was quite easy. Got Cut, which I taught to Charmander, my first HM Slave.

+ Went and defeated Lt. Surge. It was pretty easy, since I taught Meowth Dig.

+ Did the "extra" route, along with getting Flash.

+ Went back up to Cerulean City and headed towards the Cave. Caught my second HM Slave, Oddish. Taught it both Cut and Flash. Then went through the cave.

+ After going through the cave, I made my way to Celadon. When I got there, I aquired Eevee (Doughnut). Switching Jigglypuff out with him.

+ Went and defeated Team Rocket in the Casino. Now I'm currently beating up the training in the Celadon City Gym, before taking on Erika.

Yes... I know I'm going slow with this challenge. I have really only played it when I'm at school and such. XD; My pace should increase soon after school ends. But for now, here is my current team:
