Season 5 opener be like...

It was okay, but I wish they could have worked on the ending a little more. I got a little confused on it. It's also very evident that Starlight Glimmer might make a comeback further down the road (or possibly during season 5 finale?) So, I guess we'll have to keep a close eye on it.

Can we also talk about the "many faces" of Fluttershy? My favorite one was Spidershy. I'll provide a screenie later on when I find it. xD

Picking a favourite character was tough as I like both Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie beacuse they are both kinda crazy, but I prefer Rainbows colours.

So you were drawn in from the art style too, huh? I'll be honest, after watching the second movie, it renewed my love for the show again. It was much better than the original where it was awkward in a strange way, but still okay. Still, welcome again.

Today is the release of Castle Sweet Castle, S5E3 (or E2 if you count the pilot as one episode). I'll try to post the stream up later today in a spoiler tag from YouTube. (I might as well reupload it and leave it as unlisted so we can enjoy it and not have it flagged by trolls and jerks).

So I was right about the Cutie Map not being for episodes within Ponyville, because this episode involves Twilight being home sick, so her friends to make it feel like her home. We also see what's left of the Golden Oak Library, R.I.P., so the fans constantly telling the gang to give her books from the library would realize it can't be done. What they did instead was gutting out the roots of the library and turned it into a chandelier, filled with memories. I don't know if any of you guys read fanfics, but someone mentioned that this episode closely resembles this fanfic, so talk about coincidence. Definitely a good mix of comedy and feels, and also, Bulk Biceps is best Kool-Aid Man.

Season 5 - Episode 3: Castle Sweet Castle

Even though I've been avoiding teasers for this season, I knew this was going to be a dream episode by the time Applebloom went to bed, which means another appearance of Luna (we can never have enough Luna). If this was supposedly the CMC episode you guys were talking about in spoilers before, then it looks like they'll still remain blank flanks by status quo. I have to say though, Applebloom's dream sequences have gotten progressively worse as the episode went on until Luna saves the day.

Season 5 - Episode 4

Apple Bloom's voice sounded...weird. Really weird. :/ It took me a while to "deal with it" before I could continue watching the episode. Reason for this is because AB's my favorite CMC.

Also, the first scene where AB woke up, I thought she wasn't dreaming, and her going to the 'Everfree Forest' and losing her Cutie Mark, I thought that the shadowy figure was Starlight Glimmer. xD

This was an okay episode though. Also glad to know Babs got her Cutie Mark. :3

Hey peeps! Was able to watch both episodes this past Saturday (was out of town this past few weekends), and I'm now up to date. :)

Episode 3

This episode reminded me of when I first moved into my loft in Houston. Back in my home in Cali, my room was colorful, and it had a lot of things hanging up on the wall. Now that I'm in a new place where I have to rearrange everything my own way. Plus, I had to leave the majority of my items behind. So I do understand how Twilight feels when she lost her Library and had to transition to her castle. Glad to see her friends finally came through that the tree's roots are actually a chandelier that resembles all the memories she made with her best friends. <3

Episode 4

Oh, Apple Bloom...desperate for her cutie mark. However, I like how this kinda reminded me of the movie Groundhog Day (which for some reason made me think of that!). Also, Babs Seed got her cutie mark. I...don't see why a pair of scissors would be a special talent...maybe she likes cutting things? She found a talent in hairstyling?

This episode does bring in one step closer for the three to their cutie marks, at least!

This episode got me wondering will the Crusaders ever get their cutie marks, I hope so, Episode 100 is not meant to have any of the mane 6 in, maybe in episode 100 the Crusaders will get their cutie marks?

Its not too bad, I like that its not a stereotypical Apple one and more like one Rarity would have rather than an Apple would have,To be honest I doubt we will see a lot of Babs in the future

So, a little bit of Con News to announce here: Pacific PonyCon, which is a brand new MLP con in California has been confirmed to go on in January :D. It'll be in SAN DIEGO, which is the best part because I've been waiting years for a con to happen in San Diego. Andrea Libman (voice of Fluttershy and Pinkie) will be one of the guests of honor for the con.

I am so going!

Lauren Faust's How Rainbow Dash Stole Winter:

As an owner of two tortoises myself, Rainbow Dash is a terrible pet owner. You can't force Tank, a cold-blooded reptile, to stay up all winter, or else he'll die. The fact that Rainbow Dash would risk destroying an entire ecosystem by stopping winter just to spend more time with Tank was horrendous. I sincerely hope she was punished off-screen during the few couple of minutes of this episode.

It's seriously hard to say goodbye to your pets, no matter how long you will be gone. When I moved to Houston, I had to leave behind my two dogs, and my two cats, because I was moving to a place that did not allow me to have pets. I completely understand how Rainbow Dash felt when she had to leave Tank behind for the winter, but I'm sure he'll be making a return later on. I'm positive.

I clearly enjoyed this. I laughed, I cried, I tore up. best episode of the season so far. good job, Larson.
