School is made because it is part of the Social Contract due to the General Will of the parents. Those who refuse to abide to the General Will must be forced to be free.

By the way, the Social Contract is incredibly hard to understand you know. It's been associated to be talking about communism, anarchism, square dancing, <sensored stuff>, democracy and all kinds of strange junk. Basically, it's just that governments should do what the people want, but it's vague about exactly what is the General Will.

Strangely as well, "to be free" is to be part of the General Will. So another word, if you don't like the General Will, too bad. They'll "free you" by "forcing you" to be part of it.
