I don't buy the Frozen reference. XY as every has said came out before Frozen.

I do think the TMNT though is a reference. Btw sometimes the translators put references not in the original Japanese versions, possibly to relate to the market it's selling to. Wonder if the TMNT reference is in the Japanese version...

Just because they have the same name as someone in a movie, doesn't mean it is a reference. I am not trying to be rude, but how old are you?
