Oh, Hrm...when I was doing my research on its legitimacy, I never found anything stating it could or could not be shiny, so I went through with the trade. But thanks for bringing that to my attention.

if u google legit shiny mew you'll find only the old sea map event from gen 3 could give a shiny mew.
