Pokecommunity Get-together 6 - Tournament
Intro
As you may know, there is going to be a Tournament for the Pokecommunity get together. I am organising it, so here it is. It is to be held over Wifi.
Requirements
- A DS/DS lite
- a copy of either Pokemon Diamond or Pearl
- Access to WiFi
- A friend code
Rules
- 6 vs 6 Battles
- No Ubers*
- Knockout-style Tournament
- Same team for the entire tournament
- Players not turning up without a good reason will be EXTERMINATED!(disqualified).
Tournament will commence on the Weekend (friday, saturday, sunday) after all places have been filled.
We will make it so that each player has to post their team and what time suits them so that at least the first few rounds can be over quickly (we will
organise for players in similar time zones to fight wherever possible. In each round, all the remaining players participate in a battle with another and the
winner will continue on to the next round. Each round will have half the number of people as the last.
To avoid too much confusion, this tournament is limited to the first 32 entrants.
Post your team in this thread to secure your place.
For Example:
"Count me in"
Name: Archer
FC: 1234-1234-1234
Time zone: +10hrs
Team:
Alakazam
Slaking
Blissey
Skarmory
Metagross
Umbreon

*Ubers are ultra-powerful pokemon that are far too strong for the standard game, so they are often excluded. they include: Mewtwo, Mew, Wobbuffet, Ho-oh,
Lugia, Celebi, Latios**, Latias**, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Shaymin, Darkrai, Arceus.
**Lati@s is considered Uber in this tournament because we cannot monitor the use of Soul Dew, which makes them Uber-worthy.
Feel free to drop me a PM with any questions you have, but be sure to include "Tournament" in the Subject line.
