girls and pokemon?

I'm a girl and I like playing pokemon, it's probably one of my favourite games. I don't see any issues with it and I always took my DS or gameboy to school and played it. :P And I only play for fun, so I don't bother with EV training and whatever. And I've won plently of battles against people who've EV trained~

Yes that is why I was inidicating that I was XD But they are some of the general traits associated with a HUGE majority of girls :L and think videogames are "a dumb waste of money" (That's an actual quote there from some of the girls I live with :L)

There are probably more girls than I think but I don't bring it up incase they don't and I get laughed at :L

As for your definition of hardcore, then I'm not. I've also never reached level 100 (I know, I know, gasp all you want, but it's true) - too impatient. xD But I've been playing for around seven years now, so. *shrug*

I like the game without all the EVs and IVs - I just battle for the sheer simplicity and fun of it. ^^

I'm a girl...I walk around in the mall with Pokemon shirts on playing my DS and getting events are the GameStop...I also carry my deck(s) around with me...
 
I am a girl and I play totally hardcore! You probably don't see them very often maybe because they're embarrassed or they don't like to show their love for Pokemon out in public.
 
I'm a girl and I play pokemon...just because you don't openly see people playing it doesn't mean it doesn't happen...and I guess you can call me hardcore too because I EV, look for pokes with good IV's, RNG, and compete in tourneys. You see more guys doing it...and before my battling friends left this site, they were all guys. So we are here, you just might have to look a little harder to find us : )
 
Well I am a girl and I do love pokemon, but since I am in a small town in highschool, pokemon will be only talked about with other pokemon people.

The reason for that is, that other people who don't understand pokemon wouldn't understand why I still like it.

I know that does sound really bad, but if someone is bad mouthing pokemon I would get all uppidy on them. *Does a head thing*

Anyway, why would't girls like the cute little critters?
 
Yes, there are maaaaaaaaaaaaany girls who play pokemon hardcore. If you're wondering how hardcore, my pokemon Diamond has more than 900 hours logged on it right now, and (I know this doesn't apply to many, buuuuut) I am currently getting ready to battle in the Video Game World Championships.

As for in public, it gets a bit hard to do the activity you left the house for, walk, talk, and play pokemon at the same time. I can multitask, but not that well ):
 
Wow. I can't believe what I just saw. "Girls don't play pokemon hardcore" = a living lie, my friend. To be perfectly honest, I haven't played any of the games in pokemon, like the Red/Blue/Emerald/FireRed and LeafGreen +++
(perhaps, when I borrowed from my cousin but ended up screwing his game, how lame was that) anyway, lemme tell you something, I've been wanting, waiting, dreaming, longing, anticipating, jumping and running around in circles just to play one of those babies. Ever since I became addicted to pokemon just a few years back, I've been itching to buy either a DS or psp just so to play those. So don't you go sashaying around playing with your own games saying, "Girls, don't play this. The boys own!"

Well, for short, pokemon is for everybody! Just how every single person likes it or not. Have fun:)
 
Oh come on man, there are loads of girls in this fourm (I think even more then girls)
Plus I know a few girls who play pokemon! My cuzin (girl) gave me my first pokemon game :)

I wouldn't get a PSP to play Pokemon. ^_^
 
I still play the games, but not as much as I used to.
I'm really knowledgeable about them, still.
EV's and all that. I'm not fond of learning the egg moves, though.
I mostly just worry about EV training and the Battle Frontier and such.
