Hm, here's a question that I've been thinking about for a while, buuuuut to share with others (cause yay for sharing), how would you like the Pokemon Anime series to end? And I don't mean the opening and endings from pokemon episodes, I mean, like, the very last episode and all. Because, even though the anime is prooobably not going to end any time soon, it's going to end at some point.

How would you like it to end, and around what circumstances? Would you like to see Ash, realizing his dream of becoming a pokemon master at last? Or maybe he grows up to do other things? Any other events? From your description of events, or just your general wishes, why did you choose things to end up that way?

Feel free to give all thoughts. ^^

I think it would work out best as a movie. Ash would win the world championship tournament and finally achieve his dream of being a Pokémon master. He would also meet up with all of his friends who have also achieved their lifetime goal. Brock would be the world's best breeder, May and Dawn will be the two greatest coordinators, Cilan will be an S class connoisseur, etc. Jessie, James, and Meowth will retire from Team Rocket and get a job doing something else, not sure what they would do. At the end of the movie there would be a scene with everyone all grown up with families and whatnot, and each of the children want to be just like their parents.

-Pokemon XY series start showing a future even where Cynthia battling against a boy in silhouette ! The Announcer reveal that boy to be Kalo region champion Ash Ketchum .

    -Ash win the Kalo League.

-Ash will go back to Unova in order to compete in PWT !

-In the final round , Ash will use his 6 Best Pokemon from 6 different region ! Each Pokemon will represent his memory of his journey on each region .

    -
After Ash won PWT , A silhouette of new Protagonist will shown who's watching Ash's Battle in Pokemon World Tournament from 2 year later Ash won it And getting ready to start his own journey similar way Ash did in first episode .

It would probably end with Ash finally winning the league of the region he's in. Then, in an OVA, he'd win the Pokemon World Tournament, and finally become a Pokemon Master. He'll go back to Pallet Town to tell everyone, and Professor Oak will tell him how all of his friends also fulfilled their dreams as well. Then he'll tell Ash that he recently talked to his father, who is waiting to see him on Mt. Silver.

It will end with Ash meeting his father, and the most epic battle ever will take place. However, it will end on a cliffhanger as each sends out their last Pokemon. Sort of like how Yu-Gi-Oh GX ended.

    Love it.

I couldn't see the anime ending any other way but with a cliffhanger. Whether it be Ash facing off against his father or with a simple and probably likely chance that it would close with Ash and Pikachu leaving home once again for another adventure in another unknown region.

This would definitely have to work out as a movie or a very specific and well handled finishing arc in the series. This way they can shed light and give enough attention to old friends and rivals and really give everyone a proper goodbye. I would hate for it to be a rushed finished.

To have Ash win a league, become Red (his VG counterpart), etc, would be great. Not sure if anyone remembers, but wasn't that old photograph in the first season (Could have been Orange islands too) like Ash and company in the future? Or am I just losing it? Or was it Oak in the past?

To finally see Ash's father and to learn that whole backstory would be pretty neat too.

This is how it needs to end... After X and Y.

    Pokemon: Kanto Again
    Pokemon: Kanto Conquest
    Pokemon: Indigo Battles
Ash returns to Kanto to re-enter the Indigo League, oonly to discover that Max has become a Pokemon Trainer and is after that battle with Ash that he wanted. They journey throught Kanto to get Max's Badges, with Ash challenging some new official Gyms (AJ, Yas, Kas) and some old ones with new leaders (Forrest, Janine). He would win the Indigo League, but would lose in the Champions League against Bruno.

    Pokemon: Orange Crew Battles
On a quest to re-challenge the Kanto Elite 4 and the Champion, Ash has to battle in five tournaments, two of which found in the Orange Islands. Max challenges the Orange Crew and wins, while Ash enters and wins the tournaments in Trovitopolis City and on Hamlin Island. he wins the Red Piece and the Green Piece of the Kanto Key.

    Pokemon: Sevii Showdown
The Sevii islands enter the anime as the setting for the next season. Two more pieces/tournaments can be found here. Ash wins the Blue Piece on Four Island, and Max prepares for the Trainer's Tower on Seven Island. It turns out that the Trainer's Tower recently became the next tournament. Ash and Max faced off in the finals, with Ash defeating Max and winning the Yellow Piece.
    Pokemon: Elite Battles
Ash returns to Pallet Town where he is reunited with Tracey, whom is on a quest for professor Oak. Tracey joins Max and Ash to Cerulean City, where they meet up with Misty and May, whom was training for the upcoming Wallace Cup in Saffron City. In Saffron, ash battles in another tournament, but loses to Paul, whom had challenged and won the Indigo League in Ash's absence. The Wallace Cup is held, and The now rather large group run into Dawn, whom is competing, and Cilan, who was also going to compete for his Pansage.
Misty surprisingly wins the Wallace Cup, and Togetic is returned to her, because another Togepi evolved into Togetic, and then into Togekiss.
Ash's Charizard becomes sick and they take it to the Pokemon Doctors School, and they catch up with Brock. Charizard had a violent case of Poke'Rus, and cannot be used in battle until Brock says so, meaning Brock has to go with Ash to the Champions League. ash enters another tournament in Saffron City and wins this time. At the League, Ash is reunited with Iris, whom had been training with Lance. Her Axew is incredibly powerful, close to Evolution, and she has captured a Bagon and Trapinch, stating she had been travelling Hoenn.
Team Rocket appear the night before Ash rematches Paul, whom had been at the Plateau. They kidnap Ash's Charizard, so Ash and Paul and all of Ash's friends battle a super powerful-full forced Team Rocket, whom had been trying to recapture Mewtwo in the area. Ash battles Giovanni and wins, receiving his Charizard.
    Ash defeats Paul.
Ash defeats Prima (Lorelei in the Games)
    Ash defeats Bruno
    Ash defeats Agatha
    Ash defeats Lance
All of Ash's rivals arrive to watch Ash battle the Kanto Champion. All of the Professors, Gym Leaders he's defeated and Mother come as well.
Ash battles Champion Andrew Ketchum. It is revealed that Ash's father started his journey with a Pikachu as well, and that Ash waking up late was not just a happy accident. Delia put the clock there for Ash to break it, so that Ash would start with Pikachu, for his father started with Pikachu. Andrew had been the Champion of Kanto this whole time, and Ash was impressed. He battled Andrew for three episodes and, with his Charizard given the OK, Ash put up a great fight.

    Andrew VS Ash
    Fearow Pidgeot(Recaptured)
    Blastoise Bulbasaur
    Charizard Charizard(MEGA)
    Venusaur Tauros
    Rhyperior Squirtle
    Pikachu Pikachu

Despite having a lot less time to train, Ash defeats Andrew, as he has travelled and grown massive bonds with his Pokemon, whereas Andrew stayed at Indigo Plateau for so long he was disconnected from the feeling of family.
    The group separates:
Max and May head to Sinnoh
    Brock returns to Saffron
    Misty returns to Cerulean
    Dawn returns to Twinleaf
Iris travels to Blakthorn City with Lance to train with Clair
Cilan leaves to Striaton City in Unova
The Professors and Rivals return to their homes
Professor Oak, Gary Oak, Delia Ketchum, Andrew Ketchum, Tracey Sketchet and Ash Ketchum return to Pallet Town.
Ash is now the Indigo League Champion!
