    Now both of Falkner's Pokemon are part Normal type, so the only way I could beat them with a Gastly was by having it learn Nightmare. Nightmare is a Ghost type move, but still effects Flying type. And so on I traded a lv. 3 Pidgey on to my Silver, and I gave it TM 50 Nightmare, to hold. This is the only trade I'm planning on doing, other than to evolve Haunter into Gengar. I think this is an acceptable trade, after all I didn't get an actual Pokemon I would use, and this is the only way to beat Falkner without doing the "switcheroo" technique or training your Gastly/Haunter to like lv. 30. This is also why I have two Pokemon that know Nightmare.

    But just a suuuuper quick update, I just beat Brock, about to challenge Blaine, so I'm almost done. Panic, Phobia, Fear, all three Gengar's are at lv. 59

    Called myself Gold
    got a totdile as a starter.
    got an egg for elm.
    named rival Silver.
    gave the egg to lind
    got some pokeballs.
    caught a weedle LV4 named it Lisa
    caught a kakuna LV4 Named it Linus.
    disposed totodile and training the bugs
    Lisa evolved to kakuna.
    Caught a bellsprout named it knofi.

    Caught a couple of nidoran named nido and ran.
    Lisa evolved to beedrill.
    caught a zubat named it bats.
    Linus evolved into beedrill.

    The owner of this thread hasnt been online since july now, the R/B/Y monotype challenge has already been replaced by a new one, but why wasnt this thread replaced yet, although it is far more popular than its Gen. I. counterpart?

    Whatever, i had started this "one egg group only challenge" some days ago but nobody else seems to like this challenge. I used the intermediate group in Silver, which only contains some poison types and slugma, which i didnt catch yet. So I might as well continue it as a mono poison.

    Okay I start a water on Gold (emulator from PSP )

    Ill include : Totodile , Tentacool , Wooper , Magikarp (evolve soon ! ) . Hmmmm.... Poliwrath maybe...

    EDIt : Just downloaded the ROM and picked Totodile . Meh . It is morning soooo when does Poliwag appear in the wild ?

    Slight update : Just nicknamed my Totodile CRUNCHIE !
    He is my only Pokemon so far .
    I'll just wait till night but LoL it is 11 am here !

    EDIT : Finished the Rt. above Cherrygrove (WTF its nr. is ) . Now in Violet City till tonight . Till then I'll complete the RB Monotype Challenge (water type too) .
    I dodged a few Trainers specially to kill them off with my Wooper and my Magikarp . Actually , Magikarp will need to evolve . :/
