I've gotten to the point in Pokemon Black where I've battled all the trainers but I still need to grind a bit in order to face the Elite Four for the second time. Most of the wild Pokemon are OK to battle, but don't give a massive amount of experience in comparison to what I've been getting from trainers. Then I took a trip to the Giant Chasm - mostly to get TM35 (Flamethrower), but also to see if there were any harder level critters to try and grind further. And then I saw a bit of shaking grass.

For most people, that'd be no issue. For me, I'd never seen it before. The way I play the game is to pretty much battle trainers for experience and then challenge Gym Leaders. Indeed, the only time I really need to 'grind', per se, is before the Elite Four. So, while I'd heard about shaking patches of grass, I'd never actually gone into one before.* Until now.

*I've encountered Surf spots and swirling dust - caught some critters using them as well - just the grass had eluded me.

And lo and behold did the greatest creature ever in Pokemon history come forward:

"OH HAI THERE, AUDINO!"

Let me just break down the battle for everyone:

A wild Audino (Lv. 55) appeared!
Go! Eelektross!
Eelektross used Thunderbolt.
The wild Audino used After You! (But it failed!)
Eelektross used Thunderbolt.
The wild audino used Heal Pulse. (Eelektross' HP is already full!)
Eelektross used Thunderbolt.
The wild Audino fainted!
Eelektross gained 3124 Exp. Points!

And then I nearly fainted. Out of glee. It tried to HEAL my lil' critters and then it gave out THAT. MANY. EXP. POINTS! Can you have heart attacks due to pleasure? For the past half an hour, I've just been trying to encounter precious Audino with Lucky Egg equipped Pokemon and it's been amazing.

I'm aware that this is old news for pretty much everyone reading this, and I'm veeeeeeery late to the Audino party, but I just wanted this blog post to be a permanent shrine to the God of experience. I bow down to you, Audino.

Audino, "GREATEST POKEMON EVER" is kind of debatable, don't cha think. :\ Though it's amusing how many Trainers are reaping so much EXP from this Chansey Expy. XD

Every time I see an Audino, I just run because I already have one. But if I knew it gave out this much EXP, I'm gonna use it to grind my Gengar. I'd use my Lucky Egg, but I can't find it right now. :[
