Name's Alfon, Just recently got back to pokemon and finally decided to give the real games a shot. So I've been searching for a good community to join to help me out a bit. I'm pretty new to the DS-3Ds games(played free MMORPGs a couple years back till they were shut down). Really looking for a good active group/clan to join to help me get started here. Any suggestions? Looking forward to my time here.

It's great that you decided to get back into Pokemon! Pokemon is a franchise that tends to draw in people old or new and I'm sure you'll agree. :D Well, looks like your search has come to an end as PC has anything and everything you could need for your Pokemon needs, be it news, help with the games, or just socialising with the many friendly members here.

You're looking for some help with your games, right? I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for in Pokemon Gaming Central. There, you can discuss anything related to the games, or if you have any questions regarding anything game-related, you could always go to the General Quick Questions and Answers Thread. Hey there, Alfon! It's really nice that you've decided to get back to pokemon for the games; the games are quite a treat to play, so I really do hope you'll have fun playing them! One of my personal favourites is Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon Emerald. <3 Gen 2 and Gen 3 are pretty amazing, imo!

There are a lot of clubs that you can join too! There are quite a few clubs over at the Pokémon Clubs section, and the Fan Clubs & Groups section! Feel free to browse of those sections of loooooove, and join what ever club interests you the best. ^^

I really do hope you'll have an amazing time here, and to be shy; feel free to ask for help from a member of the staff team, or anyone willing to help you! And yes, feel free to have a chat with me anytime you'd want to talk too! So once again, welcome to PC, and have a scientific daaaaaay. <3

Depending on what Pokemon game you're playing, you'll find help threads across various boards to help you out with pretty much anything. So if you're playing HeartGold or SoulSilver, for example, you'd hop over to the Fourth Generation Gaming board and ask in the help sticky thread at the top. That can be about almost anything, whether you're stuck in the game, can't find a certain item, and so on. So they're very helpful! If you need help with a team though, that fits best in the Battle Center. :D

You're more than welcome to message me as well, or anyone else, as many of us are very experienced with the official Pokemon games. We're happy to help you in your time of need - don't hesitate to message someone anytime, staff included. And like synerjee and LGDArm said, you could also try out Pokemon Gaming Central or the clubs boards; there's a whole lot to do here. Be sure to explore and you'll soon find many places that catch your eye (if you haven't already)!
