2nd Gen GSC - Monocolour Challenge - A New Type of Mono Challenge !

Did Sprout Tower, caught Mareep. Cleared area between Violet and Union Cave, but lost against the Hiker with the Onix. Reloaded, did all that stuff again, trained to Lv. 19, so Jigglypuff learned Rollout, which might help me to get rid of that damn Onix.

UPDATE: Beat Morty. Bugsy and even Whitney were easy, swept them all with Jigglypuff, but for Morty i needed some attempts, stupid Gengar. I have been powerleveling Jigglypuff (now named JiggyPWN) and neglecting the others, but now, chuck is getting nearer and it seems like i'll have to level up the rest a bit, too... Jigglypuff is that high, because it took me eternally (met 2 Snubbulls in the time) to catch a Miltank, i had some bad luck there. Crits in the wrong moment, Pokeballs failing to catch Miltank etc...

Okay, here's my first and near last update.

I collected all 16 badges and am currently grinding my Pogeymanz so I can take on Red.

I accidentally critical hit the sleeping Snorlax, so I traded an egg over from Crystal. I've been raising him so far.

I start with Silver and named my character Gold. Went ot Prof Lind and got a cyndaquil which I called Feur.
Feur learned Smoke Screen.
I am visiting Prof Pokémon.
returned to Prof Elm and got a Pokédex. named the trainer that I met ebfore who stole the totodile.
Caught a WeedleLV4 and called it Lou
Feur learned Ember.
Arrived in Viola City.
Lou evolved and learned Harden.
Feur evolved.
Failed to catch a dunsparce and therefore go for the sprout tower for more money.
Lou evolved and learned fury swipes.
In the dark cave again.
6 min later at 1500% avg. and a felt 10000 geodudes and a couple of Zubats later
caught a Dunsparce and called in Mina. (on last stroke it was poisoned lol)

UPDATE: Arrived at Pokemon league now. Flaafy evolved after the rival battle, and i didnt save since before claire, so i think i'm gonna catch a new Flaaffy at the Lake of Rage, i think that goes faster than reloading. Team is 30-ish, Smoochum is in the low 40s and Wigglytuff in the 60s

Mareep? I don't know about Mareep, but Ampharos is definetely yellow, so i think you should be allowed to train it.


I beat half of Kanto now, but just found out i forgot to get the radio, so i have to walk all the way back to Goldenrod and take that stupid quiz (because i dont have the bicycle too)... or take the train

Beat Red, he was easy, needed only wigglytuff. OHKOd Pikachu with Body Slam, 2HKOd Espeon (and got some unneeded paralysis), 2HKOd Snorlax (Yay for me getting a crit in the right moment =D ), and about the rest... only charizard did some trouble because venusaur got a sunny day up, so charizard dealt a lot of dmg with flamethrower, but...

in the end i won...

..with pretty much the same team that beat Pokemon League, except for this guy: (oh, and flaaffy leveled up too, but that was before i decided wigglytuff is enough and doesnt really need good teammembers =D )

btw i did solo the e4 with wigglytuff before the Red Battle, just for fun (and +1 or 2 levels xD)
