Well see so many Monotype/species challenges for the 3rd Generation Games, the occasional 4th Generation challenge...Why isn't there any for the 2nd Generation (Excluding Alakazam's Ultimate Monotype challenge)!?! I thought this would be a fun change of pace, as most people happen to love Johto (And claim it's their favorite region), and it could turn out pretty fun!

The Rules
- Emulators are allowed
- You must be able to catch your Pokemon before exited Ilex Forest (For those who like to use Headbutt on trees, your welcome :))
- You may use your starter until you catch your first Pokemon of your type. Afterwards, using it is prohibited (Unless you want to use it as an HM Slave).
- Speaking of which, 3 HM slaves maximum.
- No using your HM slaves in your battles.
- If it evolves into your type (AKA Dual Types), you can use it.
- No hacking/glitching of any type.
- If you choose Ghost, Ice, Dragon, Steel, or Dark, you will be allowed to trade 1 of these types over to your game at the earliest time available. If you can't trade, ignore rule 4 and you may insert ONE Pokemon of that type into the game onto the first route.
- Legendary Pokemon are prohibited.
- This is not a race, so you can take your time.
- Updates are required. Frequently is best, but do your best on this.
- Challenge is complete when Red is defeated.
