    guidelines
    1. Teams are to consist of only Pokemon that are either: a) were used in a rematch battle (i.e Janine used Toxicroak, Clair used Dragonite, etc) or b) are the final evolution of NFE's used in the Gym Leader's original battles. As a rule of thumb, the teams must be comprised of Pokemon that were used by the Gym Leader.
    2. Pokemon with alternate formes with different types can be used by the Gym Leader sharing that type, i.e Flannery can use Rotom-H, Ramos can use Rotom-C, Volkner can use any Rotom forme, etc.
    3a. Wildcards will not be allowed. The tournament is supposed to be very fun, but at the same time challenging so it's up to the participants to find creative ways to best their opponents in the event they are paired up against a Gym Leader that has a type advantage.
    3b. While wildcards are not allowed, if you choose a Gym Leader without a rematch team, which is essentially just Kalos leaders, then you can choose three/four Pokemon of their monotype to round out the team.
    4. Mega Evolutions are fair game as long as the original Pokemon was either a) used by the Gym Leader or b) your leader is a Kalos leader and the base Pokemon is a 'wildcard'
    5. For the sake of staying true to the Gym Leader spirit, no Legendaries, Uber or otherwise, will be allowed in the tournament.
    6. BC's General Battle Rules
    7. Tournament battles are required; avoiding battles may result in disqualification.
    8. All battles should be in the OU tier.

    procedure
    The tournament will be held in Swiss style. The first round's matchups will be randomly seeded, and from then on the players with the best records will be paired against each other, and so on and so forth until everyone has battled each other. The eight players with the best records will move on to the playoff round, which will be a single elimination style tournament until one Gym Leader is crowned the best of them all and bring pride and glory to their home region. Said Gym Leader will be granted bragging rights because hot damn they're awesome.

    So any Pokemon with formes are exempt from the first rule? That seems a little weird.

    Question, is this going to be in pokemon showdown? or actual game??

    There are some Gym Leader that are missing... I want to be wallace! If not,I will be jasmine.

    PS: btw, you typed A and C where is B? D

    I put you down as Jasmine because the rosters are based on their most recent lineups, bar Kanto's Giovanni mainly because Blue doesn't have a specific type.

    That other typo was because I had an earlier draft I forgot to edit haha.
