    Hi, Phil here,

    Just discovered the forum a couple of days ago.

    I haven't played on the Pokémon games in a long time but I definitely want to get back into them with Platinum.

    Last game I played was Gold, just hope it's not too late to get into the swing of things again.

    Hey Phil welcome to PC. Of corse its not to late to get back into Pokemon. Anytime is great. Just just happened to miss a generation of Pokemon. Platinum is a good game. I would recommend getting it.

    That was the problem, I thought missing out the 3rd generation (I think it was) might have prevented me getting back into it. But should be ok

    Gold to Platinum is quite a jump, but it'll make Platinum seem that much more awesome. xD

    I have Platinum, and Gold to Platinum is indeed the jump.

    Gold is the best Pokemon game ;) Though Platinum is great as well.

    • Welcome~! Don't worry, you'll be fine! I hear Platinum is awesome. I'm not buying it since I have Diamond. My first game was Crystal, I felt the same way you do since I never had Red/Blue/Yellow. Good luck!
