    Hi everyone, McMagister here. Moemon brought me back to pokemon, which I had been playing from the first gen. I've also played various versions of Touhoumon, mostly Aqua+Yui. I guess the only thing special about me is that I push pixels decently, and so I'm making my own moemon. Nice to meet you!

    • I've played a Touhoumon game yeaars ago and it was really, really addicting. Fell out of hacks in general later on though but we have so many here to keep people busy. n_n; Welcome!

    Since you're working on your own game you should definitely explore all that the ROM Hacking section has to offer. It's a large place with some very extensive resources including tutorials, mods, help threads, scripting assistance, and myriads of other things. I've no knowledge in that department but you're sure to find all the help you need. ;P Have you made your own games before or is this your first time dabbling in it?

    Hey, thanks. I'm actually not working on a game of my own ATM, but rather the sprites that could be used in a new Moemon patch. And I think compared to that, it would not be hard to insert them into a ROM, thanks to the tutorials on these forums!

    • Hello from Australia! Welcome to the community McMagister, and you made an awesome decision to join PC because we have more than you'd expect for an average online Pokemon community.

    As recommended from Sheep, the ROM Hacking section is definitely the place to go if ROM hacks are your main interest, it may be one of the largest sections here but it's got very helpful moderators there, two of which have been on staff before years ago and came back recently so I'm confident you'll get the assistance you need with your hack questions. There's subforums such as the Beginner's Lounge and Tools & Resources where you can get started, and if you stick around and not give up I'm sure you can show off your hack to all of PC.

    Sadly I can't help you over there since I have little-to-no knowledge of ROM hacking but there is always someone over there who can help so don't hesitate to ask them. I hope you have a blast here at PC and yeah I'll be sure to see you around!
