2nd Gen Help me make a team

    A friend and I are going to battle. I'm using yellow and he's using silver. The team I have used to get through the game is :
    Mew
    Blastoise
    Charzard
    Venasaur
    Gyarados
    Pikachu
    I need to know which pokemon to add to the team and which to take out. And I was wondering why so many people think its a bad idea to keep the three starters on the team.
    The one pokemon I want to keep on the team is Mew, but besides that, I am willing to change any of them.

    Not only is this in the wrong section, (it should be in the Pokémon Strategies and Movesets section) but you also didn't list the movesets of your Pokémon. Since you obviously need help with those, may I suggest the Request a Team/Individual Moveset here topic stickied on top of Pokémon Strategies and Movesets?
