Music hacking has hit this stage for a while now, but nobody seems to be interested in it at all, other than Jsziede, ipatix and I.

Hello, I applied the ips file in an expanded-clean rom, but when I tried to load it in VBA, after the Gamefreak screen, the game freezes, and when applied it in 16MB-Clean rom, no music is being played

Because you need to apply the IPS and add the music to 0x09000000.
But you should wait for the next release which should be soon.

I'm also working on the BW/2 patch, which should have a soon release, if you want to use that as well, but it won't include most of the themes, just ones suitable for a basic hack (aka routes and regular battle themes)

I'm also working on the BW/2 patch, which should have a soon release, if you want to use that as well, but it won't include most of the themes, just ones suitable for a basic hack (aka routes and regular battle themes)

Update 7/7/15 - Almost Complete!

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've posted updates anywhere.

So my latest news is that this patch has received a complete reboot, in other words, I've redone the whole thing. It took a while, but now it's nearly exact compared to the DS music, which is incredible. I'm almost done importing every last song (not in the GBP, in regular song form)

And since Emerald support is now a thing (for me), these patches are near complete and will be a close replica of the DS music.
