    Hey howdy,
So i'm pretty sure tons, if not everybody, here knows about the hacks BlazeBlack and VoltWhite or SacredGold and StormSilver... but my question is, how exactly would you make a hack like this? I have tried making my own pokemon games before, but sadly they were busts. So i've decided to try and learn just how to make hacks. I am planning on starting my own DS form hack of HG or White, but i can't seem to find much info through google and stuff. All i really want to learn is how to change out/add OWs and manipulate/add new maps and add new events, but i can never find anything on it.. Any help is appreciated!
(P.S. Sorry if this is the wrong section)

  • Moved to the Beginner's Lounge subforum as that's where ROM Hacking questions go.

All of this can most definately be found in the Tutorials section of this forum.

    XSE, events.

    OW's

    Maps

However, if you're planning to do a DS hack, which is more challenging I assume, you'll have to look for DS specific tools in the Tools section. Which is in the same section as the tutorials.
