How do you let the player steal another trainer's Pok?mon?

How do you let the player steal another trainer's Pokémon?

How would you go about having the player steal trainers pokemon?
Kinda like the cheat codes in the old games that allowed you to capture trainers pokemon without blocking the pokeball
