The rate of tax varies from each state. For example, you may live in Florida (according to your 'location');
Florida has a tax rate of 7%. In California, the tax rate is 11.5% as of 2007. We have it worse!

Well, I paid for mine, only about 35 bucks, but basically, I got it free, because I won me yet another Platinum in a Pokémon Tourney held over here, which I'm selling now for 30 bucks. xD​

the game will cost me $10 (after trading in new super mario bros.) and the guide is $18 + 20 % off for buying it with the game!
