    1-2/10.
I avoid all social contact in real life, and I am really picky on the internet. Shopping with others feels like torture, having more than one guest over in my house feels like torture too, and on the rare occasion where I will go to a party (once in two or three years) I feel like I'm suffocating until I can find an empty spot away from people to sit at and wait until I can finally leave.

I'm a 7.5 out of 10 in the social scale because I like being by myself, but I have decent social skills.

2 when I'm at home because there's nobody to talk to except online and the way my parents freak out whenever I try to say something to them, I just try to steer clear of them.

When I'm at college, that number goes up to an 8. I constantly like to be out and about on campus, going to events and meetings and hanging out with friends.

    On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd probably be a -10.

Okay, to be fair, that's a gross exaggeration. I do socialize and have a small group of friends. But that group is very small. And most of them have married, had kids, and/or moved. So, it's not like I'm going to the movies every single weekend with any of them or anything. I see them maybe once every four months or so. For at least a week at a time, but still a large gap between times.

Admittedly, I could probably make more friends if I... well, put myself out there. But I'm not social at all. I'm very, very, very socially awkward. Completely different offline than I am on. I rarely ever approach anyone... they always approach me first. I'm so socially awkward that I will get extremely nervous in social situations. Sometimes, it sucks. Other times, I don't care. It depends on the mood I'm in. Mostly, I spend my time in my room, with my DS and my laptop, a cup of coffee or tea, and my dog. To be more realistic, I'd say I'm a 2 on a scale of 1-10. In that I'm not a total recluse, but I might as well be.

    I'm gonna go with a 7

During my first year of college last year, I was either out or had people over at least five times a week. My parents complained at first because ~I was never home so my grades must be terrible~ but I got a 3.9 ;) I love meeting new people and hanging out, but I don't need to be around people all the time to feel good about myself or have fun for that matter, which is why I chose a seven. Due to class schedules and my friends transferring out (we're at a community college and all but a few are a year older than me) I haven't done as much this year, but it's still been fun.

    0.
I haven't had irl friends in years, barely talk to anyone because I'm scared of what they could be thinking about me or they might laugh at me, and I stay away from everyone else.
    Not very social tbh :\

    Online though, I'd say maybe a 7/8.

    -20!

I'm not the most social person right now. It's not that I don't want to be; I just don't have the means. No friends outside of work and my roommate, and no car to drive around, and no idea where to meet new people. :/

If I had to put myself on the scale I'd say 3 or 4.

    Damn you revealing questions :P
    On that 1 to 10 scale, i'd be a 1.
I literally do nothing all day but sit in my room on my computer and play games. In fact, the only time I leave my chair is to let my dogs outside or get some food from my kitchen.

To give an example of how lame I am, I watched a Minecraft livestream (Coes Quest, if anyone knows it :D) for 11 hours straight yesterday, only stopping for a 30 minute My Name is Earl break.

Not only that, but i'm terrible in social situations. I guess the term would be socially awkward. I never know what to say. I hate even being within 50 yards of somewhere else because I don't know where to look... Normally I stare at my fingers and pretend to mess with the nail so I don't accidentally make eye contact or come off as a generally creepy person.

    I'm terribly afraid of people.

Online though i'm good :P I'm a member of 4 or 5 forums right now. As long as it's through text i'm fine.

I would say 3-4, I hang around with different small groups of my friends at school, but only on certain days like Fridays because they're never in. Although I barely say anything.

I'm going to say 6, but it really depends.

Last year, I knew everyone in my old school, I was most definitely a 7-8 or something.

This year, after transferring, I knew no one. In a relative scale to everyone else at school, I was a 3. I probably worked up to a 5 by today, but certainly, I talked remarkably less than last year.

Online, I'm begging for people to talk to me. I'm a good solid 8 online. Just make sure you start an interesting conversation.

So if I was to average it, it would be around 6-7.

One, I'd say, I never go out with friends, but I have my reasons for that, and my friends aren't really the type of people who go out, too. Plus, I have no clue where they live so I could never get together with them. >:

Going with a 2. I rarely socialize with anyone unless I have to or if it is within my small group of friends whom I am close with. Even so, I am rarely talkative and am silent almost all the time.

On Tonjour's scale? 1. I never go outside on free time at home to socialize. I stay locked up in my room playing the 360 or posting in forums/using the interwebz all day.

I'd be a 0.5. I'm THAT anti-social. I don't like random people talking to me and I don't like talking to them. Sometimes I find it hard to look that I'm interested when I'm really not. So yeah, 98% anti-social for me.

I'm probably around a seven. I love hanging out with friends and socialising, however I can also feel like relaxing indoors with a good book. It all depends on my mood but I'm always up for socialising whereas I have to be in a lazy mood (which I hardly ever am) to stay at home.

After one day of not seeing friends I start feeling a little down and want to see people. How down depends on what I was doing that day. If I was busy with a million things it will feel like I haven't been away from friends for that long. I measure how much I miss friends by how much free time I have in which I want to see people but can't for whatever reason. The more days it stays like this the more down I'll feel. Generally that doesn't happen since I've got plenty of things to keep me occupied.

So... I like being around people, but I can function well on my own, too. I'm going to just put myself down in the middle with a 5.

Toujours, maybe you can improve your scale. Perhaps it could have two axes, one for how much you devote yourself to social activities and one which rates your ability to function normally without social interaction. Or one which is how social you are and one which is how social you want to be.

Well since I haven't had any real life friends for a long time and the fact that I don't work because I'm scared/paranoid of what people think of me I'd say I'm a 0.

When ever I talk to anyone online (Which is also very rare) I'll tell them stories about what I've done. Only thing is that the stories I tell are from months/years ago since I don't do anything these days. :(

it all depends on the day. if I'm at home and tired, im at a 6 (I'm still constantly texting people) at school I'm a 6.5 (I mainly only talk with my friends) and if I'm out with friends or at their houses I'm at at a 9.5 (Things break when I'm social)
I really want to leave my house right now but its raining.
