So... yeah. I'm going to karaoke on Saturday night and need to think of some songs to sing! Because I will of course be gracing the world with the wonder that is my voice. The only song I'm definitely doing is this:
This one's completely set in stone. I've been rehearsing in the mirror doing my best J-Tizzle impression forweeks days hours now and I've got that falsetto bit down to a T! The original plan was to do Bonnie Tyler's 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' to join it but I'm having trouble believing that my vocal chords will be able to sing all the musical somersaults that Ms Tyler manages to release from deep within her diaphragm. So, this is where you come in, PC: suggest some songs to me!
A few things before everyone rushes to Spotify/YouTube/whatever. It has to be something that's reasonably mainstream, so that the venue will actually have a good chance of having the song in stock. So no obscure indie stuff or J-pop or anything like that. I'd looooooove to do a version of 'Tonari no Totoro' but I highly doubt that Lucky Voice Islington will have it available.
Also, be wary of my vocal range. I'd also love to belt out a good bit of Beyonce but my voice definitely cannot stretch that high. For reference, I've got a similar range to someone like Seth McFarlane... only the quality of my voice isn't as good as his is.
But apart from that, go nuts. I'll pick the best one on Saturday morning and 'perform' it that night in front of 20 horrifically drunk people. Fun times for me! :D

(Also I have a cool new Rotom-themed signature... check it out!)
