  • If I were a gym leader, I think I would mostly specialize in the Dark type. This is because the Dark type give off an aura of cool, calm and slyness which matches my personality well. Also, some of the Dark type moves are incredibly strong and, matched with the right Pokémon and strategy, can prove to be hard to defend against.

A little made up information on my gym can be found below:

    The Jublife City Gym

Leader: Mooji - the cool, sly dark type master.

Pokémon: Umbreon, Gengar, Dusknoir & Darkrai

    Badge: Void Badge

My layout of the Gym would be a simple one. It would be a nice long simple path and it would have lava in the gym as well (lava like Clair's). The gym would also be pitch black so without flash, you wouldn't get far and crash into a wall (as they'd have stuff to protect you from falling in the lava). The leader would be right at the end.

    Magcargo level 56 (Focus Sash)
    - Sunny Day.
    - Heat Wave.
    - Earth Power.
    - Solarbeam.

    Rapidash Level 55 (Charcoal)

    - Solarbeam.
    - Flare Blitz.
    - Megahorn.

    Houndoom level 59 (Blackglasses)
    - Dark Pulse.
    - Nasty Plot.
    - Fire Blast.
    - Hidden Power (Psychic).

    Infernape level 60 (Flame Plate).
    - Flare Blitz.
    - Stone Edge.
    - Close Combat.
    - ThunderPunch.

Fire. The gym would be in some sort of forest, being burnt, like in... SSBM, or whatever it's supposed to be.

    And team:
    Pokabu lvl 14
    Torchic lvl 14
    Charmander lvl 24
    Cyndaquil lvl 24
    Growlithe lvl 34
    Houndour lvl 34

Umm... 4th gym? You can totally see I love the fire starters and number 4. XD

As for the badge and reward:
Charcoal and the Flame badge... because that's totally unique.

I'd be a boring gym leader in terms of prizes. :(

    [ 8th Gym, Rock/Ground Type, Geo Badge ]

My gym would be like an underground maze, which would go down by a level each time you won against a trainer. And on the bottom-most floor, there would be lava and fire because of the huge depth from the Earth surface; That's where I would be.

    Line-up:

    Sandslash (lv. 39)
    Lunatone (lv. 40)
    Bastiodon (lv.42)
    Probopass (lv. 44)
    Rhyperior (lv. 47)

  • Gym: 8
    Type: Steel
    Name: Leader Aura
    Badge: Golden Chrome Badge (Sig)

    Pokemon

    Lucario - Level 60

    Skarmory - Level 57

    Metagross - Level 59

    Magnezone - Level 55

    Scizor - Level 60

Tough gym, gotta train hard to win, the gym would be located deep in the iron mountains. The gym itself is right inside a cave that was dug for this gym. It is dark inside with only torches to light it. After winning you are awarded the Golden Chrome Badge. (I am the only trainer inside but the rocks give my pokemon the advantage)
