    I posted a simple question to know if anyone else has done what I seek.

    Here's what I want: to fix the balance for the game mechanics of Pokemon Blue and Red. And do a few other gameplay improvements along the way...

    But really, I just want to fix what already exists. And no I have 0% interest in the non-compatible sequels or reboots. I'll be happy to explain what a complete balance overhaul would entail.

    Sounds like you're looking for the Emulation section of the forums, I see. This part of the forums is only for introductions, and your post isn't really one, unfortunately.
