4th Gen Is it possible to empty the berry stock in D/P?

Hello there,

for context I'm only playing when I am bored without internet access, in the subway, so it is a common thing to me to see berries disappear from my berry radar because the admittedly fell to the ground or something.

I am fortunate enough to not cook Poffins nor to use all these berries in battles, but let's admit I'm doing that a lot.

Is it possible for the game to see my berry stocks deplete to a point certain rare berries can't be found anymore in the game? If not, how does the game circumvent that?

Could lose berries #53 to #64 permanently, probably. Never appeared in the game naturally as-is. Occasionally regrows the trees automatically after falling off, however. Increases those odds with Gooey Mulch. Is not aware of different odds for different berries.

I have no plans of trading with HGSS so far, so I'll be careful with those ones.
