is this a good team for the battle tower?(in-game, not wifi)

i was wondering if this is a good team for challenging the battle tower in soulsilver, and if not then what would be good.thanks.(for double battles)

You have to make some changes

First of all either remove Flamethrower for Fire Fang or Fly for Air Slash
Dont have two water moves on Empoleon. Surf is bad in Double Battles so remove it for Flash Cannon.
Remove Protect for any good physical move
Remove Iron Defense for good Special move
