I can't be the only one that notices that all everyone seems to want to do is to fall in love and have this perfect relationship, right now.
Is love the only thing that matters nowadays? People have become so focused on finding the love of their lives that it's nauseating. Now, I won't lie and say that I haven't had these thoughts but that it's not the only thing I think about or that I'll be "forever alone". Honestly, I'm just looking to have fun. Now is the point in my life where I want to be adventurous and not worrying about those kind of things. I'm in University! Being in a relationship or being in love is the last thing on my mind (well, actually probably leeches are the last thing that are on my mind. shoot! now they're first).
My friend constantly thinks that they're not good enough because they doesn't have a significant other. Like, having a boyfriend or girlfriend automatically makes you a good person or an attractive person. I keep telling my friend that they doesn't need one to be happy but they insists that they know but they reeeeeally want one. Maybe I'm just too much of an independent person to want to think like that. It just aggravates me to see my friend basically begging people to date them. I don't want to paint them in a harsh light but that's how/what it looks like. Especially when a person doesn't want to date my friend they just fall to pieces. I know the topic is sensitive but I don't think you should measure your worth by if you got a (wo)man or not. OR how many people that you've had relations with.
ugh this topic just upsets me so. I hate seeing people like this. I just want to let them know they are perfectly fine and okay by themselves.
seriously my friendship should be enough for anyone, right?
