Oh, it's not a stupid question if you're new! Just please make your posts in the right place; this is better suited for Community Questions and Feedback than Pokemon General. ^^;
If you haven't made a thread? Go to the bottom, just before the post thread button, there's a checkbox for that. It'll take you to the screen to make a poll. It's pretty self-explanatory.
If you've already made the thread? Click on Thread Tools (on the top of the thread), there should be an "Add Poll" option. It'll take you to the same screen.
If you're still confused, PM me. ^^ (Click on my name, there's an option for that, if you don't know XD;; *shot*)
