Not as much in Dp, imo, in 3rd Gen they weren't seen that much in the competitive enviorement. And no, i'm not talking about just Ludicolo, he is an annoyer and ALL annoyers aern't seen that much in competitive play like said before. But if you really want a take a chance at surprising the opponent, then go with this Set:

Trait: Swift Swim
Calm/Timid Nature
Surf
Ice Beam
Rain Dance
Leech Seed. Same ol' Gen III set.

i love ludicoolo. it's good enough to pull off all of the choice items and all kinds of strategies. you can really fit it into any team depending on what you need.
