Kanto series = Featured Pokeballs and Safari Balls (The green and white ball seen in the first episode must be a Safari Ball and Ash caught 30 Tauros with the same balls, althought they are kept on normal Pokéballs.)
Johto= Featured Pokéballs, Lure Balls, Heavy Balls and Fast Balls
Hoenn= Featured Pokéballs, a Masterball (movie cameos= Repeat Ball and Luxury Ball).
In generation IV (Sinnoh) = All pokéballs (including Great- and Ultraball) until the the generation appear, but only in one of the series endings.
No more Balls where introduced.
