Hello all! Here's a few sprites I've been worknig on. First time I've every tried to make pokemon sprites(doing it for a game...I know I'm so origonal xD).​

Also, note that these sprites are not for a hack of any kind. They're larger then usual and more detailed.(game engine supports larger sprites)​

FAKEamon Sprites (For my computer game, Pokemon Pure Violet)​

RIVEEL-
Water starter :D Horay for eels!

This ones a little old, but a personal fav. <3 I might have went a little too crazy shading and detailing in MSpaint, but meh. This guys name is Ocieel, the second evelutionary chain from the water starter. This one is completely scratched.

This is Leviathel. The last evelotion of the water starter. I absolutely love how he turned out.​

FLAREBAT- I absolutely love this guy <3 He's a mix of red panda and fruit bat(bats have manes :>). I MUST SQUISH HIM. <3(I might make his tail smaller but...it's so fluffy :<)​

FLAMEBATA- This guys name is going to be under heavy construction I thing XD; But I'm uber happy with how he turned out. :>​

DRACUGNITA-Obiously he's not a cute fruit bat anymore ^_^; Now he's a vampire bat...red panda...sabertooth thing.​

FAWNVY- He's not an eevee D:! It's a fawn. A poison ivy fawn. Hurr. <3​

Delospheer- This guys name is a little harder to figure out. I named it after a plant with simaler leaves like the ones on it's tail. And of course, "Deer"- without the D at the end. Well, techniclly it's an antelope >.>​

Acanthalope- Another one with a difficult name, It's an antelope named after the plant acanthus, a plant with basicly the same design as it's leaves. :>

Tyachia-
This pokemon is rumored to be the evolution of Jirachi. But Jirachi will never evolve into it if it is with a trainer.
The reason for that is it takes thousands of years before a Jirachi can become this.
There is said to only be one in existance, and it might not even be in this present time...​

Badish Sprites. Will remake soon.​

This guys name is Riveel. Now I do like this one, but the shading is off and I don't like his pose. This is the water starter.

Old version of Delospheer.

Yunca- This ones a Sheep/kirin pokemon. I origonally thought about making her a starter water... but I'm just making her a rare pokemon. This is fully scrathed. (I might even remove it from the game)

Yewcorn- this is the secondary evolved form. Srsly...horses are so hard to make for me with pixels. This is a fakemon..but I needed rapidashes help ;_; I will be redoing it shortly, fully scratched.

Yewnagon- evolved from yewcorn. This one was scratched, I learned from the previous one how to do swirlies on my own :> so I did one new strand and pasted it in different areas, did heavy blending...ect. But I'm not really happy with it.. I will prolly redo the mane compleately. Maybe the face aswell, sense it looks younger then it's previous version. >.<​

As sprites themselves these look really good, but as Pokemon sprites, besides the obvious size limit, they need some improvement. The shading looks good for the most part, but if you're making Pokemon sprites you should stay at a limit of 16 colors. Also I noticed that on the manes of the unicorns you have some pillow-shading, so keep in mind that most Pokemon sprites have their light source at the top left. The outline on Yewcorn looks blocky in some places, but I assume that's because you used a resized Rapidash to help. But like I said, they look great even though they're not conventional Pokemon sprites.

thankyou :) For some reason it's very difficult for me to make the pokemon have the same quality of lineart they have. If I increase the brush size it's not right, and if I decrease it, it's too fine. >.< Darn my wonky screen resolution-size issues.
And also thankyou for noticing the pillow shading on the manes! I knew something was horribly off about them, I couldn't put my finger on it.

Aslo, here's so new ones,

Obviously these are the other evolutions of Ocieel. Riveel and Leviathel.
Again, they are alot smaller on my computer o.O I don't get it, lol.

Ahah. Now I knowwhy they're so big. :) These sprites are for my pokemon comp game, which require larger sprites. There not hack compatible, but maybe one day I'll make them so.

well, not that anyone really looks at my sprites anyway.

I fixed Riveel. He looks much more smaller now, with a more natural pose.

oh wow, your sprites are just--

wow.

I think I'm in love. <3 Don't let anyone tell you to change your style, these are AWESOME and you should KEEP DOING what you are doing my good friend because you are incredibly skilled. Also I am totally getting the fire starter because everything about it is fantastic although the same can be said for the rest of your lines.

I like 'em. Especially Fire and Water Starters and their evolutions. Nice work.
They also look like a real Pokémon (or at least as real as fakemons can).

Your sprites have really improved! I think it's cool how you're not sticking with the same 80 x 80 sprites and using your own style instead. I love the fire starter line and Dracugnita is the best. Just try to make smoother outlines and they'll be almost perfect.

Yup I have all the back sprites done minus the leaf pokemon.
But um, I dunno about you shrinking them, I don't exactly want them to be used in hacks and stuff until I make my game with them in it you know?

Your sprites are simply amazing. Nice concepts and good shading. Although it's not really the Pokémon style.
