Melody of the Sea

A/N: Just so you know, I posted this in Fanfiction.net under the username KogasMySexyBeast. This is in fact, me and I haven't copyed it. (posted only because I don't want to be banned for posting my own poem.) ^.^' This poem is about Lugia, a request poem for one of my friends on Fanfiction. A/N

Soaring song of the sea,
With wings he glides the watery skies,
He brings us music of peace and the tide,
His melody of the sea.

Powerful song of the sea,
Blissful awaking to calm the calamities,
And prevent the tragedies,
That could be.

Billowing song of the sea,
Melodies that melt the hardest of hearts,
And soothe the restless souls,
Telling of the ease that we all need.

Sorrowful song of the sea,
Croon to us your song once more,
To bring some comfort,
To you and me.

Haunting song of the sea,
Why is it you must hide?
As all we hear is your harmonious cry
Blending with the waves of the sea.

Wise song of the sea,
You say you won't come until you're needed,
As, "It is not safe for me,
In a world filled with greed."

Farwell, song of the sea,
As I wave goodbye,
And hear your echoing cry,
A realization dawns on me.

Beautiful song of the sea,
You are where you belong,
And from now on,
You will live as free,
As a Melody of the sea.

Poetry can be difficult to do,
Believe me, I had seen it,
But with practice, and effort too,
You could be a famous poet.
