    I just caught a Mesprit, but I only have 7 badges. Should I first get Uxie and Azlef or confront the 8th badge first?

    They're not really all that powerful, and three psychic types in one team is a little redundant. Just go for the badge. You can always come back later to catch them if you want.

    you should get Uxie and Azelf first.
    When I faced the E4 they lead me to victory along with my Gyarados
