Well.. I wanted to keep this secret until it was released, but, seeing as how I'm on such a tight schedule, I can't afford to wait.

I want to create a small game/interactive short story having to do with the holidays for release on Christmas to be made in RMXP. However, I'm going to need help. And a lot of it. See below:

--Spriters: You would be creating a lot of new sprites. Not a whole bunch (I DO only have 11 days or so), but you'd have to work fast. You'll probably also do full or at least partial body sprites for in-depth cutscenes (I believe there are three, they'd have two to four frames of animation The Last Express or Myst style...).

--Scripter: This would be pretty simple. Just tie everything together and put in the dialogue I write for the people. You'd need to figure out some stuff about cutscens, but there's not a whole lot of hard work here (I wouldn't suppose).

--Templat(er): You'd either make custom templates, or ask permission to modify pre-existing ones. I don't care any way, just so long as it has a wintery feel. The whole town would be covered in snow, as well as wreaths and the like.

--Mapper: Not a whole lot of work here, either. I'd be giving you a lot of guidelines, and you'd work. As there's only one map (the city), with ten or so buildings, this wouldn't be terribly stressful.

--Assisstant Producer: You'd be doing a bit of everything. Mainly, stuff like writing (although I'm going to be doing most of that), and organizing (and that too).

    Bear in mind:
-This is Pokemon STYLED, not an actual game for the series itself.
-No pokemon, just a lot of story.
-Perhaps (this may be edited) PG-13 for alcohol reference and mild language.

No way I want to map!
I am really good at mapping want proof?
My days of bad mapping are over now
and sorry for not alot of stuff, RM2K3 doesn't have much but
I still am good at RMXP.

Pokem gets the bigger job (contrary to my PM because I wrote that first); that's mapping the outside. Darker Arceus, you can do the indoor maps. I'll give you the guidelines.

But I can't survive on just mappers alone! I need others for this to work! Okay, MAYBE not so much the assisstant producer...

Did you like the script I sent you guys? It didn't take me long, but I kind of like it anyways. Also, when you put in the sprites later on, I'll give you more information, but there are definitely going to be mandatory characters. (like Stuart in the bar, for example...)

k but i think u'll need to get a spriter fast cuz u'll need some custom sprites.
also, could you pm me a more descriptive layout of the town cuz i think it's too plain lol

More description? That's alright, but the reason I didn't elaborate too much was because I wanted you to decide what you wanted to make as the details... Just send me the map of the town as it stands and I'll correct it from there.

A spriter, as well... I agree. The question is, who? I'll ask around.

    So, lets see...you need...

    Mappers
    Scripters
    Spriters
Tilers (or Templaters as you called them)
AP (who ends up being a writer as well)

    What...exactly...are you doing?

Most people doing custom projects do the majority of the work themselves. I personally am doing the mapping, scripting, tiling, writing, and some of the sprite desiging for my game. The only help I've enlisted comes from the custom artwork being put into the game, and even then I'm working to sprite that.

You've literally lowered yourself down to being what I guess could be called a "creative lead", which means that your only purpose is to make others create your vision with you seemingly doing little of the work.

I'm not really making a game anymore. It's more of a screenplay or a regular play.
But the whole reason I need all those jobs is because I'm really crummy/don't have the resources for any of the above. I am writing the whole thing myself, and thus don't need an AP. The project will be canceled, but the story will probably come around at some point.

How about plan it for a release next year?

I've already decided to do that. Although I'm almost done with the game script (3 of 10 scenes done, but most of the rest are much shorter), I don't really know the state of the rest of the project.

    At least I'm working...
