    Definitely Whitney in Gold version. The freaking Rollout attack always killed my Pokemon.

    But besides that, in Ruby Version, Winona the Flying Gym Leader is my least favorite. She was really hard to beat.

    If it wasn't Claydol's EQ killing me to death, it was Xatu's CM'd Psychic killing my stuffs. (I dislike the Hoenn Darks, really...)

    Can't they just stick to Lunatone and Solrock? ;(

    Mine would have to have been Wattson. Frackin' SonicBoom! Frackin' Magnemite! FRACKIN' SWITCHES! It took me about 6 tries... >.<

    Also, every time I was FINALLY done with Wattson's Magneton and his SonicBoom from hell, my Pokes were so weak that his Manectric ALWAYS managed to beat me, no matter how many items I used... I'll never ask for a rematch :(

    In Sapphire, mine was probably Fortree's gym. The puzzles really annoyed me, but were fun - I hate how they're easier in Emerald. And Altaria was incredibly difficult to beat. Dragon type (loads of resistances) + Earthquake (loads of things weak to it) = pain.

    That was in the days when I was a noob. Good old days.

    Anyway, in Emerald, it was probably Petalburg gym. Not only the gym leader, but the other trainers were annoying to beat too. Especially when I wanted to beat all of them. Slaking annoys me to this day - just a few days ago, one nearly beat me in the Battle Dome. It OHKOed my Latios, and took 3 hits to beat, even with a max Attack Adamant Salamence and a nearly max Attack Mild Latios. Before it was KOed, it Yawned my Salamence, causing it to nearly lose to Dragon Claw Feraligator, only surviving due to some extreme luck (10 HP left and about be be KOed, it wakes up, and critical hits with Earthquake to KO Feraligatr :P).

    EDIT: Oh yeah, Wattson. That was an annoying battle, with his Pokémon being annoyingly fast and outpeeding all mine. At that point, my team was something like a level 20 Combusken, a level 19 Goldeen, a level 18 Taillow, and a level 20 Skitty. Plus I KOed every wil Pokémon I saw, yet his Pokémon were still a lot higher leveled than mine :(

    • Mossdeep City Gym: Man, these little twins are EVIL how they have those rotating statues (and rotating people) in their gym and you have to push the buttons to move them in the right direction even with remembering which teleport tiles take you to which room.

    Hearing how you guys struggled with Norman makes me that much happier I beat him on my first try, I only used My Breloom (Lv.30) and my Trapinch (Lv.23) =D

    I think Liza and Tate are difficult, especially in Emerald with Claydol and Zatu.

    I never had a real problem with Morman like most... But my most hated was Wallace and Juan.
    I mean come on! How many water gyms are there now? And to actually get so obsessed with it to put Wallace in the pokemon league?
    And yes, I HATED Juan's Kingdra. *Though his entire team got a good smackdown with my own all water team! =3 *

    • The most hated GYM Leader for Hoenn, would have to be Brawly. It took lots of training to defeat his pokemon and he keeps using Berrys on his pokemon too :(

    And the rematch list on Emerald,Juan.He would always use Hypnosis.Poliwag is pure evil,well his is^^

    mine would have to be tate and liza or brock in the origional red version. I always chose charmander so i had trouble with him

    I agree with what most people have said about Norman and Brawly. But I think Brawly was more difficult for me - Tailow's low defense :(

    Blaine from R/B/G/Y was also a pain. The fact that I love pokemon that are rather weak against fire types really comes back to bite you in the a**

    Definately Tate and Liza in Emerald. First of all, it took me a while to find them because of that maze with the rotating statues, and I did all that just to white out later. =P As if the Psychics weren't bad enough, I also had to deal with this Claydol using Earthquake every turn, and when I brought out my electric Pokemon to nix the Xatu, Earthquake would kill it before it could finish the job.

    But I shouldn't be complaining since most of my team wasn't even at level 40 at this point. XD
