  • I would like to do a Mixed attacker Ludicolo. What would be the suggested lay out? Would it be better than Clawitzer? I need a water type to replace Salamence

Don't eve think about mixed Ludicolo; its offensive stats aren't high enough to take advantage of that. Stick to special moves only.

Multiple times now ive been in a battle and it says it loses the other player...ive been in a good disposition all of these times is it a coincidence do you think or are players D/c on purpose? because they come back online in a few seconds after the game kicks me :( recently i fought this guy named Zion with 2 pokemon left and i had all of mine with one in red health but still there and it D/c so what do you guys think? BTW after the match im still connected just not the other player

  • If there's a disconnection and you're brought straight back to the battle option screen, your opponent disconnected. If this is a rated battle, your opponent is taking actual losses for disconnecting and he's essentially screwing himself over. If it's unrated, there's nothing to stop him from disconnecting.

Adrian, it doesn't say if your opponent disconnected. All it says is that the connection with the other player is lost and then brings you back to the option screen. Or is it the waiting screen? Either way, if you're still on battle spot right after that connection drop, you're fine.

  • Best mixed attacker that isnt T-Tar?

Abomasnow and Aegislash are your best bets, though you need Trick Room support for the former:

    Abomasnow:
    -Blizzard
    -Wood Hammer/Energy Ball
    -Ice Shard
    -Protect
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 252 HP/48 Atk/208 SAtk
    Item: Abomasite
    Ability: Snow Warning

    or
    -Blizzard
    -Energy Ball/Grass Knot
    -Ice Shard/Rock Slide
    -Protect
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 SAtk
    Item: Focus Sash
    Ability: Snow Warning

    Aegislash:
    -Shadow Ball
    -Flash Cannon
    -Sacred Sword/Shadow Sneak
    -King's Shield
    Nature: Quiet
    EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 SAtk
    Item: Weakness Policy/Lum Berry

Best mixed attacker that isnt T-Tar?

I like this variation of Salamence ive been running lately.

    Salamence@ Life Orb
    252 S.Atk / 6 Atk / 252 Speed
    Naive Nature
    - Draco Meteor
    - Brick Break
    - Iron Tail
    - Fire Blast

Draco and Fire Blast are your main coverage moves. Brick Breaks nails Tar, Blissey etc. Iron Tail ruins fairies. As you can imagine, its an ass to try and stop. Of course there is also Mega Garchomp who is also great mix attacker, Infernape etc.

  • Except once again Adrian meant good mixed attackers in doubles, not singles. Still, you're right about Salamence. I'd probably go something like this:

    Intimidate/Moxie
    ~Draco Meteor
    ~Rock Slide/Earthquake/Ancient Power
    ~Protect
    ~Flamethrower/Fire Blast

Intimidate to weaken physical attackers, and switching out lets it reuse Intimidate and reset its Special Attack. Or Moxie to get the Draco Meteor kill and get the attack boosts.

Serperior is too terrible for my tastes. Never use neutral natures like Quirky or Serious, as they don't do anything beneficial:

    Serperior:
    -Calm Mind
    -Giga Drain
    -Hidden Power (Rock/Fire/Ground)/Dragon Pulse
    -Substitute/Taunt
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb

    or
    -Reflect
    -Light Screen
    -Taunt
    -Giga Drain
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spe
    Item: Light Clay

    or
    -Coil
    -Leaf Blade
    -Aqua Tail
    -Return/Substitute
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb/Leftovers

    or
    -Glare
    -Giga Drain
    -Dragon Tail
    -Taunt
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 Spe
    Item: Leftovers

Milotic faces a lot of competition as a bulky Water Pokemon; this is the best it can do:
    -Hydro Pump
    -Ice Beam
    -Hidden Power (Grass/Fire)
    -Recover
    Nature: Modest/Timid
    EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Competitive

    Chandelure:
    -Fire Blast
    -Shadow Ball
    -Energy Ball
    -Trick/Memento/Hidden Power (Ground)
    Nature: Timid/Modest
    EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Choice Scarf/Choice Specs
    Ability: Flash Fire/Infiltrator

    or
    -Substitute
    -Pain Split
    -Fire Blast
    -Shadow Ball
    Nature: Timid/Modest
    EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe

There are multiple ways in order to circumvent the immunity.

Did the opponent has the Scrappy ability?
Did the opponent has Aerilate or Pixilate?
Did the opponent use Odor Sleuth or Foresight on Gourgeist?
Did the opponent change your type via Soak?
Did your Gourgeist hold a Ring Target?

Our bet is on one of the first two ones, most likely from Gardevoir.

    What was the opponent's Pokémon?

I'm guessing the foe's ability was either Scrappy or Pixilate. Scrappy causes Ghost types to be hit by Fighting and Normal type moves whereas Pixlate causes Normal type moves to become Fairy type.

My opponent I was facing was Aurorus.
