Lol as more and more of Naruto comes out, it seems more and more Star Wars comparisons can be made.

Naruto - Luke Skywalker ---> Learns the ways of the Sage from Fukasaku as Luke learns the way of the Force from Yoda

Fukasaku - Yoda ---> Both are over 800 years old, they're both small, but have a lot to teach their pupils. In addition, they both mentor the student of their student after their student dies (Fukasaku mentors Naruto after Jiraiya dies, Yoda mentors Luke after Obi-Wan dies). They both also talk weird.

Jiraiya - Obi-Wan Kenobi ---> They both become the mentor of the main characters of the respective series. They are also both killed by their pupils.

Nagato/Pain - Anakin/Darth Vader ---> Yeah, some might think Sasuke is more like Anakin, but I think Nagato is. Nagato and Anakin both become obsessed with power in order to save the ones close to them (Anakin for Padme, Nagato for Yahiko and Konan). They both kill their mentors. And they both become crippled and assumed a new identity, Pain and Darth Vader respectively.

Konan - Padme ---> No matter what Nagato and Anakin go through, Konan and Padme are there for them.

Sakura - Leia ---> Sakura and Leia are both constantly concerned for Naruto and Luke's safety.

Madara - Palpatine ---> Both are old as hell, but are very powerful. They both betray the groups they were part of (Palpatine betrays the Jedi, Madara betrays the Uchiha and the Leaf)

Those are a few. Tell me any more if you have some.

You know about the Hero's Journey* right?

    * An idea a man named Joseph Campbell (a direct influence on George Lucas during the creation of Star Wars) came up with, which is based on the theories of Carl Jung whose own theories are based on Freud's, which is a sort of rubric that supposedly covers all heroic-type stories around the world and systematizes them into reoccurring plots and character archetypes.

Just open the TVtropes website page for Naruto and another for Star Wars, note down which tropes they share in common and there you go.
Any series can be compared in some respect, it's not uncommon to "learn the ways of X from old man Y"... or really any of those things you listed.

Raikage = Mace Windu. It seems like they would have similar views on things. Also, Raikage got his arm cut off by Sasuke and MW got his arm cut off by Anakin.

    Fukasaku is over 800!?

Since when?(Is a Naruto lover but never knew this)
