Story/Plot:

It's been ten years since Naruto's return to Konoha after his 2 1/2 year training period with Jiraiya. The Akatsuki hasn't been heard or seen of since a titanic battle between Naruto and Sasuke vs. Pein and Itachi. It resulted in what seemed to be the death of Sasuke, and Pein and Itachi escaped, and Sasuke was never seen again. The Akatsuki was never seen again, and the denizens of Konohagure settled down. Naruto was eventually granted the title of Hokage after passing the ranks, married Hinata and had two children, Nami, and Naraku. Konoha was at peace... until a mysterious island appeared in the sky. To investigate the island in the sky Naruto had scientist creates air machines to fly out to the island and to scout it. Naruto joined the voyage, alongside Lee, Gaara, Shikamaru, Neji, Kakashi, and other jonin. When they arrived the were shocked to find Pein and Itachi surrounding an ominous orb. Naruto and company prepared to fight when Sasuke with a Chidori striked the orb. Naruto hit Pein with a Rasengan while he was distracted and finished him off while Kakashi and Sasuke set off after Itachi. With the orb shattered the island suddenly began dissapearing into a light in the sky. Naruto and company, unable to pursue Kakashi and Sasuke, retreated to the air machines. As they began boarding the ships Naruto turned back to help Kakashi and Sasuke. He told the others to leave with one final message... "I Won't turn my back on my comrades again! Believe it." As Naruto ran into the horizon, the island was stolen into the sky, with Naruto, Kakashi, Sasuke, and Itachi aboard. Back in Konoha Tsunade was forced out of retirement. When the orb was destroyed, the shards scattered around the five great nations. Genin teams and others were told to obtain these shards so they could figure out the mystery of the Sky Island...

Mission Objective:
A Ranked
You are currently a genin. There are 4 teams so there needs to be sixteen sign ups. 3 genin for each team, and one jonin for each team. You can be from any country, and can rank up to Chunin, and jounin later after the exams. You are to travel around the world collecting shards. You will be attacked by rogue ninja, and may come across a village in need. Help and you'll be awarded. There will be special advances in the story which will be told by me.

Rules:
Obey all PC forum rules. 3 strikes and you're out. There are also some custome rules for this RP:
1) You can control one character per squad.
2) There are 1,000 shards. Don't go on a shard spree finding shards in every post.
3)Eventually I'll post a notice that the Chunnin exams are open. You'll then have to travel back to Konoha to participate.
4) In some circumstances your character may die. If that happens, then you're free to create another character to replace that member. You can have up to five extra lives before you're given the boot.
5) You can have love relationships with anyone you'd like, as long as there within your age by 3 years. You can kiss and hug all you want as long as there's no rated M, or A rated love if you get my drift.
6) The following are rules about the registration. Most everything is self explainatory, but some morons gonna mess up. In the jutsu areas, don't put some strong jonin level technique. You may learn these later. You can only learn super powerful moves if you're a jonin, or Chunin depending on the rank of the move. Nobody can have the Rasengan, or Chidori (Naruto's the only one left who knows this technique because Jiraiya's dead, and Naruto and Kakashi are lost). No Chidori because Kakashi and Sasuke are gone. You can create your own jutsu, but must create a description of it. Genin can learn B ranked jutsu or lower.

Description: Oturan wears a black jump suit much like Sasuke's former one durring the Invasion of Konoha arc. He wears ninja shorts over it with a black belt, and blue ninja sandals. Like most Naruto shinobi he has a bunch of unnecessary bandages on his right leg, and a bunch on his left arm. He wears his ninja headband on his forehead. He wears a green jacket unzipped with a bunch of pockets on it. He uses them to hide his scrolls... He has dark chocolate hair with bangs resembling Sasuke's. It's mild toward the front and begans to stick out more wild anime style towards the back. He's also caucasian.
Personality: Oturan loves fighting tough opponents, and sparring whenever he can. He can become very serious when it comes to a fight, and refuses to lose a fight, especially when the lives of loved ones are on the line. Unless the battle is an important one, Oturan loves to play with his opponent. He specializes in Taijutsu, stinks as Genjutsu, and is okay at Ninjutsu.
History: Oturan has been training intensily ever since Naruto and the others disappeared. He wants to be stronger than everyone else, so when the mission is given to find the shards, he becomes pumped and ready to go. It would also give him a chance to find someone important to him. You see, seven years ago there was an emergency in Konoha, because a group of bandits had snuck into Konoha. Oturan was in the academy alongside his childhood friend, Yuka. One bandit entered the Academy and killed there teacher. Oturan stood in front of Yuka with his teacher's Kunai. The bandit rushed towards them. Oturan ran towards the bandit. There was silence. When Oturan woke up all that was left was the corpse of the bandit, but Yuka was gone. This mission provided him a chance to find Yuka. He had to ask her something, and to tell her how he felt...

Man....I havent entered an RP on here in ages....hope I've gotten better...

Name: Takami Haru (last name first of cource!)
Nickname: Baka, Dobe, Loser, weirdo, freak. (mostly used by kids at academy)
Age: 13
Gender: Male

Description: He has long, dark brown(almost red) hair, a long ponytail hanging down to his waist, with his bangs usually covering his amber-gold eyes, when he's not wearing his hitai-ate(headband). His shirt is the strangest part about him, due to the fact it has lop-sided sleaves and the jounin swirl on the chest. The left sleeve is short, clinging to his arm where it ends, about mid-bicep, his clan's crest (a circle with a wavy line running through it, a crecent moon on either side, pointing in oppocite driecions). The other sleeve however, is long, hanging down to his knees, with an larger-than-needed cuff. No crest adorns this sleeve. Left arm has fisnet glove that goes almost to his elbow. He can also usually be found wearing a pair of blue pants, bindings at the ankles going down into his sandals, the family crest appearing on the left knee as well. It should also be noted that his shadow, which when inspected closely and secretly, to avoid detection, dose not resemble him, and acts of its own accord. How it dose this, noone is quite sure, but Haru dose not seem to like to talk about it. Also note perculiarly sharp fang that extends over left side of lip.

Personality: He's taken to being called "weird" or a "freak", and adopted it as a compliment. He will often grin at others, causing them to shudder or draw away in fear. (he actually made one kid wet himself once...) but once he drops this mask for someone he deems a friend, you'd actually find out that he's a nice kid to be around, and often cracks jokes that noone, but himself, finds funny. Yup, under the shell he's nothing more than a softy, squishy as a marshmallow till ya make fun of him. Then the masks back on and he's planning ways to make your life misrable, with his friend anten of cource.

History: His mother was from Amegakure, his father from Konoha. His parents met after Pein was forced to retreat from his hiding place in Rain by Naruto & Co. While working together they formed a bond and yadda, yadda, yadda, acts against kami and such. Nine months later, out pops little Haru, screaming his lungs out to the world. Skip ahead a few years. His mother died shortly after giving birth, but not before giving him a name, and telling his father that she wanted to live in konoha, as rain was no place for a baby, especially if pain were to return. After her death, his father complied, bringing his only son back to his village of birth. Now, we see a young Haru, taking sh*t from a few of the older academy students, and taking it to heart. It was this day, he met his first, and probably only, friend. Hatake Anten. The two grew as close as brothers, often plotting together about payback twords those who outcasted them, though they never went through with it. As they advanced through the academy they hoped that they would be placed on the same team, although the chances of it happening would be slim at best. Haru's father died just after he(haru) graduated from the academy, of an old wound from the war.

Other: Haru's shadow seems to have the abilityto 'detatch' itself from his person somehow, often wandering off much like a spy. it cannot talk however, but also seems to be able to pick itself up slightly(about 2-3 inches off the ground) and trip others, or pick things up from the ground, such as kunai or other items. Although it can detatch from him, it cannot, say, attatch to someone else and mess with their shadow, or infact grow with shadows like the Nara clan's shadow jutsu.

Primary Weapon: shadow(though he has no conrtol over it, his shadow dose like to trip those that make fun of him or otherwise assault him. again, noone knows how)
Secondary weapon(s): Kunai (20) shuriken(20) wire(14 feet) smoke bombs (12) fire crackers(6, 7 foot long strings, summoned by scrolls. and yes, they're the ones that go off with a 'bang!' and a crater) Paper Tags (explosive and fake, used with his firecrackers)

Ninjutsu:
Water style - heavy rainfall jutsu: causes it to rain heavily, nothing more, nothing less.
D ranked
Earth style - ground release jutsu: seperates the grains of dirt in a large area. great in combination with heavy rainfall.

Mud style - endless mudstream: combination of heavy rainfall and ground release, litterally turns the area around user into a 3 foot deep area of mud, that allows the user to basicly play "whack-a-mole" with his enemy.
C ranked
Mud style - Mud wrestling jutsu: opens up options for taijutsu, making Endless Mudstream even sloppier. Also allows the user to 'breathe' under the surface of the mud while jutsu is in effect.
B ranked
Trickster Art - explosive lotus: think lee's crazy spinning move, only, instaid of slamming them into the ground, and using bandages to wrap them up, he knocks them into the air, and wraps them in strings of firecrackers. LIT firecrackers. LOTSA lit firecrackers. "Boom"
believe it or not, its a c-rank jutsu, mailnly because the user only needs to get the opponent into the air, not bounce them around like a ping-pong ball.

Genjutsu: none

Taijutsu:
mud style - perspective strike: used against male opponents. moves through mud quickly, and foot rockets from mud between opponent's legs. you can guess the target.
D rank, greatly effectve however
Mud style - squirrel-hole technique: litterally plays "whack-a-mole" with the opponent, only it would be the mole hitting them instaid of the other way around.

Nickname: Psycho, creep, punk, that "snake-using-b***h's-son (the last being used by those who are still not fond of Anko)

Description: He wears the same treanchcoat and fishnet his mother dose, but instaid of wearing a mini-skirt he wears cargo-shorts, hsi weapons holsters strapped to his body under the trenchcoat, along with having many little hidey-holes inside his coat. He has his mothers deep violet hair, styled almost exactly like hers, minus the bun, although he has his fathers's carcoal colored eyes(he didn't inheret sharingain). he also has a tattoo on his right shoulder blade of a grinning, evil-looking face, much to his father's distaste. He often wears regualr boots, but will wear his sandals when needed to. he wears his hitai-ate like a belt. and yeah, he's got his mother's tounge. and I mean verbally and physically. (the girls would love him if he wasnt so damn scary *grins pervertedly*)

Personality: Modreately cold, sadistic, much like his mother, but knows when to be serious or thoughtful like his father. he absolutely enjoys inflicing pain onto others/having pain inflicted onto himself, and constantly thought up schemes to do so with Haru during their younger days. He can, however, be affectionate.

History: The son of Mitarashi Anko and Hatake Kakashi no Sharingan(anko later being Hatake Anko) He spent alot of time with his mom, learning the ways of torture and sadism from her, and loving every minute of it, while he learned some other meathods of interrogation and torture from his father(along with a love for a certain orange-clad book series...), before his tragic dissapearance. Having been a close friend to haru for years, he learned some nice other ways to do things, and has started carrying a cheese grater around for more stubborn victims...er...witnesses. After his father dissapeared with the flying island, his mother taught him an all-important art, the summoning of snakes. He may not be that good, but hey, when you're already this intimidating, having the ability to control small pythons is enough.

Other: Absolutely LOVES torturing others, sapping information from them, and watching others be tortured. He used to hang out with Morino Ibiki, before his untimely death, and had given him the nickname "Ibi-Chan", much to the older ninja's annoyance.

Primary Weapon: Snakes. Lots of them. and interrogation items, yeah, he's good with those.

He usually wears a pair of black ninja pants that bind at the ankles, the bindings heading down into his equally black sandals. He also wears a red, traditional style japanese robe/tunic(the one with all the buckles on the front and the really long sleeves) that also has extra buckles along the upper arms. His hitai-ate(headband) covers the fact that he is blind, by positioning over his eyes. His weapons holsters are firmly affixed to where they are supposed to go(left hip and right thigh) but he also holds his sai in special pockets in his sleeves for easy access.

Personality: He dosn't really let much out, usually choosing to remain silent instaid of voicing his mind. He may not be able to see the world around him actually, but that dosn't mean he can't tell when something is going on. His learning to hear vibrations and dicern their meanings, meaning he knows if you're lying, and he will rat you out. In recent months he's taken to standing up for Haru silently from the shadows.

History: Ryuutora has been blind since birth, and no one really knew why. When he was younger he started training his other senses such as hearing and touch. He also came up with an altered juuken style, but instaid of using open palms and normal chakra, it uses closed fists and electric chakra to paralyse his opponent's nervous systems. Not much else is known about Ryuutora's childhood exept for the fact that he didn't have parents growing up, and he moved to konoha when he was just old enough to enter the academy. Other than that he's an enigma. But in recent months he's taken up to standing up for Haru, knocking those that have gotten after him unconcious shortly after they do it, for an unknown reason.

Other: Ryuutora seems to have a kekkei genkai that allows him to 'see' without the use of eyes.(think byakugan/daredevil/riddick mixed) Also seems to be part of nara clan as he can use shadows as weapons.

His kekkei genkai actually works like daredevil's.(only mentioned byakugan for the 360* field of vision) loud noise reverberates around to his ears, letting him 'see' his surroundings for about 50 feet. Other than that he can simply use shadows as weapons, molding them into kunai or other ninja tools.

It's nothing compared to everyone elses jutsu. As long as the jutsu is below A ranked, you can use it.

I've got a question...who will our sensei be? origional, or canon? origionals would be too troublesome as that would mean waiting for people to create them, and end up having them quit due to their own reasons, leaving their squad with either A) no jounin sensei, or B) somone controling the previous sensei with no Idea of their origional personality, other than the few posts the creator made during their time here.

Canon sensei would be a better choice, as their character and personality have already been created, but it would also leave open the "who-wants-to-be-such-and-such" dilema. Ends up with someone wanting Neji as their sensei, and ends up being overly-nice to their character, completely ignoring the others, or ends up going way too OOC with their controlled sensei and ends up ruining it for the rest of their team.

Also, I posted this here so that those who wish to join will be able to see your responce and not be left in the dark about it, rather than having just the two of us knowing how this would work.

Good point... Changes may be made but for now their will be NPC canon senseis. As the teams get filled if anyone who missed team registrations wants to still join they'll become jonin leaders.

That would be my fault. This is Takanushi's first RP, and I was helping him out and such. Ryuutora is the name of his blind ninja in a FF i've been writing(though he has yet to show up) and Takanushi wanted to give the name to his nin on here too, as keeping true to the FF. As I said, this is his first fanfiction and he probably forgot to change the others along with his origional name. I'll get on the phone if he's offline and tell him so he can change it.
