Original DS/DS Lite: Get those if you still have any GBA games you want to play
DSi/3DS: Get those if you want more applications and improved graphics.

3DS all the way. It's out in... what is it now, 4 months? December, January, February, March... I need more money. xD

Besides that, it's kinda your choice. DSi has better buttons and such, DS Lite and Phat are cheaper. I've had a black and blue Lite for ages and it's served me well, but yes I did have to replace it. Twice, in fact. But only after a couple years of use.

DSi does not improve graphics, it just has bigger pixels.

Right well as I can't wait till the 3DS comes out, I'm going for the DS Lite or DSi.... :)
I can get a DSi XL 'Midnight Blue' for $147 dollars :D Is that good?
And I can get a black DSi for $127.49

I don't see the point in getting a DSi XL. I'd go with the cheaper DSi, if you're leaning towards a DSi and not a Lite. But seriously, I'd still recommend a Lite, because once the 3DS hits the stores, it's essentially a DSi that can do more. So getting a DSi at this point seems like a waste of money to me.

The DS Lite's GBA slot is worth the entirety of all the crap in the DSi Shop. There are maybe 4 or 5 good games on DSiWare, whereas there are hundreds of GBA games. However, I'd suggest waiting for the 3DS unless you absolutely can't afford one and want a DS now. If so, I'd get a Lite.

I agree. I have a DS Lite and I wouldn't trade it in for a DSi

Also agree with the above poster. I had a choice about 6 months ago between DSi and DS Lite; went with DS, because I didn't think the DSi was worth it. Now, I'm very glad that I made the right decision. :pink_laugh:
