    Hey, I have a question...

What Water-Type Pokemon should I train up and use in the E4?

Krabby, Lapras, Seel, Staryu, Kabuto, Poliwag, Slowpoke, Horsea, Magikarp, Tentacool

I let them pre-evolved because they will learn their good skills earlier...

    My team ATM is:

    Lvl 61 Charizard, Nature, Modest
    Attack: 120
    Defense: 119
    Sp. Attk: 171
    Sp. Def: 116
    Speed: 163

    Lvl 49 Jolteon, Nature ,Bashful

    Attack: 79
    Def: 67
    Sp. Attk: 119
    Sp. Def: 107
    Speed: 153

Lvl 41 Mr Mime, Nature, Timid

    Attack: 45
    Def: 67
    Sp. Atk: 93
    Sp. Def: 113
    Speed: 113

    Lvl 50 Primeape, Nature, Gentle

    Attack: 119
    Defense: 73
    Sp. Atk: 76
    Sp. Def: 90
    Speed: 130

And 2 Other pokemons with HM's skills.

And what should my water type nature have for benefical stats?
And what type should I catch as a second pokemon?

I have lvl 35 Zubat in training I plan it to train < Good choice in E4?
And have my party pokemons good nature?

    Thank you for reading!

I say seel to take out Lance's Dragon's, plus its a dual type (ice/water).
I personally like neutral natures, but if you want a "beneficial" nature then I would go with Timid (+Speed, -Attack).

Also, no. I don't think Golbat is good for the Elite 4.

Hope this helped :). I used Blastoise last time I beat it so I really didn't need a water type >.<.

    Use Lapras; it rules.

And about Golbat, it probably isn't one of the best Pokemon to use, but in-game it really doesn't matter all that much what Pokemon you use.

I'm not too good at the movesets and all, but to help narrow your selections here are a few of my choice:
Lapras - Good overall and a good moveset
Seel - Dual type and good for defeating a variety
Staryu - Dual type as Starmie and good for defeating a variety
Poliwag - Good overall and an awesome moveset
Horsea - (if you can) evolve it into Kindra (not sure if you can in LG)

I say Lapras, staryu, and horsea. From here you can choose one of those pokemon that I just said.

I think either Lapras, or a Dewgong would be good. Both have good hp and defence, and can learn ice moves to beat lance. Though Dewgong might get better stats when it levels since its evolved.

Lapras and Dewgong are both excellent ice/water pokemon, and pretty much the only ice/water pokemon in the early stages of the game (i.e. pre-E4.), besides Jynx. Both learn Ice Beam, although Dewgong also learns Icy Wind and Aurora Beam too. Starmie is wicked hard to beat when it's leveled up properly and has a wide moveset (like Thunderbolt, Psychic, Surf, etc.) It's great too.

Thank you all for posting! I really appreciate it :)

I took Lapras as it was better in stats and a better ability.

I am looking for a second type... A grass type, Anyone have tips for me :)?

What were you planning on using the grass type for? *You have limited choices and most of them aren't good..*

You have LeafGreen, right? Then you can't get a Vileplume. Vileplumes are better than Eggsecutor (or however you spell it), Victreebel and Tangela. If you really want a grass-type, you could try a Victreebel...

And your team could use a better all-out wall (like Chansey.)
