New Mega Ideas?

With so many megas these days I feel greedy making this thread. But I'm still curious. So if you could give a Pokemon a mega which one would it be? What typing? What ability? What would it specialise in? Personally mega Flygon for me...One can only dream.

It might be cool if it were a Bug/Dragon. Mega Yanmega would make a good Bug/Dragon also.

Since Bug is one of my favorite types and egg groups, I feel uniquely qualified to say that the current Mega offerings n the type are far too physically biased. It doesn't have to be Yanmega, I'd take Venemoth, Volcarona, or maybe even Vespiquen if they got Magic Bounce or some other neat Ability.

But Mega Yanmega would be a godlike Dragon/Bug.

I don't use Mega Evolutions except for helping to lower a legendary Pokémon's HP down with Mega Sceptile, but I think Raichu should have one. It's the evolution of the series mascot, and I see no reason why Beedrill got one over Raichu.

I'm not a fan of Flying/Dragon typing because Rocks. But then Bug would have the same problem >.<

I don't know when I became a fan of Bugs. It might even be Flygon's fault heheh. But Mega Vespiquen... that's a deliciously frightening concept. She's already intimidating as it is ( design-wise ).

Give me a mega Bouffallant where that afro gets too starchy and becomes rock like - and he gets Rock Head as an ability, plus a big ass speed boost; to make use of that Head Charge, Wild Charge goodness.

Give me a mega Hydreigon, where it either gets more physical attack or enough special to actually threaten the fairies who scare it so damn much. Or even better, some sort of ability that debuffs fairy attacks one shotting it.

Give me a mega Eelektross, where it keeps levitate and Mono Electric - but gets usable enough stats to be crazy.

Mega Primal Groudon, Mega Primal Kyogre and Mega Ultra Rayquaza, because they clearly aren't strong enough. Also no Bug type Mega Flygon, because Bug is a terrible typing for it.

As for actually interesting Megas: Relicanth (more Attack and SpD), Phione (Storm Drain, better bulk, attack and a better movepool), Hitmonlee/chan/top (better stats), Starmie (better stats), Mismagius (better stats), Qwilfish (better defenses), Luxray (add dark type)

Agreed, for a series mascot his and his evolutions stats are...mediocre. But a mega would do Raichu good.

Yes, yes and once again yes! While 5th gen is the one I have played least of, I'm still pretty good at using the pokes introduced...especially Edward DragonHands the Hydreigon. The amazing potential these 3 have is crazy and megas for them would be great.

I guess Ubers banning legendaries will come true. In my opinion Flygon being Bug/Dragon is genius BUT that's just me so you do you. As for the interesting megas though Relicanth and Phione are genius as is Starmie and the Hitmon trio. Also I love the idea of Mega Luxray and the dark typing should be added to it as a regular. Electric/Dark sounds soooo nice!

DESIGN wise, from an art perspective :p, I'd love to see more megas, I want a mega Raichu and a mega Dunsparce, I think a mega Milotic would be awesome too.

I may have said this many times but I would really love it if Scrafty gets a mega since it's my favourite its stats are a bit underwhelming and especially since there are stronger Pokemon now (and Fairies). Maybe either a boost in Def and Sp. Def or Attack and Speed; for ability Shed Skin. But yeah, I also would want more Gen 5 megas since it's not fair Audino only got one.

Mightyena is another Pokemon I love but it's really underwhelming. Would be nice to give it an extra type (maybe Fighting?) as well as a boost in Attack and Speed. I want it to keep Moxie.

Destroyer of Megamences and Megagrosses alike. Featuring some (type)ate, Poison seems like the least absurd to prep it against Fairy types, especially with its existing access to Hyper Voice. Still has a check in Sylveon, who can bop it with a Pixilate Quick Attack.

TRUUUU! Mega Raichu would make the anime mascot better as its pretty bad, while Dunsparce should get a regular evolution then a mega. Mega Milotic should be Water/Fairy and it should look Beautiful!!!

Yeah, fan designs are so f-ing amazing its crazy. But still Persian should get a boost to a Normal/Fighting or Dark type.

YES! I love Scrafty SOOO much, BEST dark type ever! Second best fighting after Lucario of course. Also yeah, fairy's destroy Scrafty if it can't outspeed with Poison Jab. And ye Mightyena would be better if it got a better design. A better design for Mightyena in its mega form would be the only reason I'd need to use it.

Ye Mega Raichu is pretty popular and also Wigglytuff would be SOOOOO bulky as a mega.
